Ch 2 Time for action
Lexi really didn't know why she was surprised. When Zadavia said it was a roadrunner, she new it had to be her.
Jess walked in and waved. She had the same uniform as everyone else, except her triangle was a blue striped with purple. Lexi looked at her.
"Hello Jess!" she said.
"Now wait just a sec there doc!" said Ace. "How do you know her?"
"We met in the park" said Lexi.
"Forget that!" said duck. "What I'm wondering is why she doesn't talk like Rev the annoying!"
"You-know-I'm-standing-right-here-and-that-I-am-not-rev-the-annoying-I'm-rev-runner-the-road-"
"I think we get it Rev!" said Ace.
"It is a pleasure to meet all of you!" she said happily. She shook hands with everyone. Rev looked at her thinking, 'Wow she's nice. I wonder how good she is fighting!' "I'll show you you're room!" said Lexi. "If you want I can also show you the training room too!" Jess nodded. She new Lexi and her would get along real well.
Jess's room was a deep purple with aqua carpeting. Jess started to lay down all her stuff. She took out some books, a cell phone, a laptop, some pens and paper, a drawing kit, and her clothes. Jess sat on her bed with Lexi when she was done than they chatted a bit. "I'm real excited with working with you Jess!" said Lexi. "Before the meteor hit you, what was you're life like?"
"I was the only roadrunner in my school, so kids teased me because of my art. The day I got hit by the meteor was the day when they ruined my entry for the art competition, and the students pelted me on the stage with tomatoes!"
"How awful!" said Lexi. "I tried out for the cheerleading team and the captain thought I didn't have what it took because she was jealous of me!"
Lexi and Jess chatted more and more and then they found out they had a lot in common. "Could you show me the training room?" asked Jess. Lexi nodded then Jess followed Lexi to the training room. Jess asked if she could try it out. Lexi nodded, then a bunch of men appeared. Lexi never seen such fighting.
Jess flipped and kicked and she made super sharp discs appear to destroy the simulations. When Jess was done Lexi said she loved her skills. "Thanks" said Jess. The alarm went off.
"Loonatics, we have a huge problem!" said Zadavia.
"It appears we have a huge blob monster, who was created by mastermind, who has escaped prison again!" Zadavia explained that the prison malfunctioned when fixing something, which caused her to escape.
"She used her technological abilities and extreme smart abilities to create it, she's near the place where you last fought her!"
"Let's jet!" said Ace.
'Alright my first mission!' thought Jess.
They flew right down to the area they last fought. Jess looked around, suddenly she smelled something. It was a droopy smelly, mucky smell with a hint of wires…
"You guys smell that?" she asked.
"What doc?" said Ace. "I don't smell a thing!" Suddenly, the ground rumbled. "Jess, you must have super smell!" exclaimed Lexi as a gigantic robot goop monster
