Shiro ran out of the green lion and then ran into the crowd gathering around them , looking to find that one face he wanted to see after all these years, one of the only faces that kept him going all this time.
He saw what he though was Adam but soon lost sight of him, after about a minute of searching he managed to see Adam again, who was trying to get away from the crowd.
He saw his chance so..
" ADAM W.!! " Shiro yelled out at the top of his lungs and managed to get Adam to look back at him.
" THIS IS HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE TO ME. I GOT ABDUCTED BY ALIENS AND YOU WERE ONE OF THE ONLY REASONS I KEPT ALIVE, BECAUSE I WANTED TO FIX THINGS WITH YOU. I BECAME THE HEAD OF VOLTRON , BATTLED MANY CREATURES AND ALMOST SAVED THE UNIVERSE BECAUSE I WANTED TO FIX THIINGS WITH MY UNIVERSE , YOU KNOW WHAT OR SHOULD I SAY WHO MY UNIVERSE IS, IT'S YOU. " Shiro took a deep breath and began to walk to Adam, the crowd making a pathway for him.
He stopped in front of Adam, and looked him over. He looked as if he hadn't slept in years. His eyes were red and puffy, so he had probably been crying resently.
Shiro gently grabbed Adam's hand and placed a soft but short kiss on the back of it. He kept hold of Adam's hand as he whispered, just loud enough for Adam to hear. " So, my amazing universe, will you please forgive your mess of a ex-fiancé and maybe let us start over? "
Adam then took a step forward and wrapped his arms around Shiro. He placed his head on the crook of Shiro's neck and he as did Shiro felt it dampen . Shiro rubbed soothing circles on Adam's back with one arm, the other wrapping around Adam.
Shiro just managed to hear Adam mumble, " Of course I forgive you, you big dummy. "
Shiro chuckled. " Ya know I missed you Adam. "
"I missed you too Takeshi. " Adam mumbled in reply.
