Memories
Rain looked around. Yami was staring at her. Again. Rain sighed.
(What's up Rain?) Rain's "twin sister" asked, having heard Rain's sigh.
((Nothing. Yami's just staring at me again. Nothing serious.)) Rain replied. Her hikari looked at her.
((Kat I'm fine. It's nothing.)) Rain insisted.
Kat looked at Yami. Her eyes telling him to meet her after school. Yami nodded ever so slightly. The movement barely moving his head. Kat nodded back.
School seemed to blur from then on.
After school Rain and Kat stood by the school wall in the shadows.
((I still don't get why I have to be here.)) Rain complained.
(Because this is about you my yami) Kat answered.
"Katara?" Yami called.
"I'm right here Yami." Katara answered moving slightly so Yami could see her.
"What do you want Katara?" Yami asked.
"Why were you staring at my sister today?" She asked back.
"I remember her from somewhere" Yami answered.
"Yami where are you?!" Yami's 'twin brother' called.
"Over here Yugi!" Yami called back.
Yugi arrived which made Rain freeze even more so she wouldn't b seen. She didn't want Yami to know she was listening. She looked sadly at the former Pharaoh. He didn't seem to remember her. She sighed softly
(Rain you don't have to hide.) Katara said.
Rain moved so Yugi and Yami could see her. Both males jumped.
"Sorry." Rain smirked. (That was mean.) Katara said. ((Yami deserved it.)) Rain replied.
"How long have you been standing there?" Yami asked
"Long enough." Rain said sadly. She looked at Katara. Words passed between them with out a word said or thought.
"Yami hold still." Katara said.
Rain moved and was suddenly standing in front of Yami. Yami flinched.
"What are you dong?" Yami asked.
"You'll see." Rain said quielty.
She put her fingers tips on his temples and closed her eyes. She unlocked her magic and Yami's memories of her. When she left his mind, he gasped.
"You!" Yami gasped.
Rain smiled.
"Come on Hikari. Let's go home before a fight starts." Rain said.
"Got it." Katara said.
"Good bye Brother." Rain said queitly.
The two girls dissapeared in to the shadows.
"What was she talking about Yami?" Yugi asked his yami as they walked home.
"She's my... sister. My twin sister." Yami said stunned.
Rain was in the Shadow Realm, upset. Yami didn't even remember her. They were supposed to be best friends as well as twins. 'Atem why don't you remember me? I miss my brother' She thought.
(Are you ok Rain?) Katara asked.
((Yeah. I'm fine.)) Rain lied.
Yami found Rain not long after, crying. There was a Salvage Warrior by her side, keeping all of the Shadow creatures away from it's mistress.
"Rain? Are yu ok?" Yami asked.
Rain looked up at him.
"You forgot about me." She whispered.
"I didn't mean to. You know I lost my memory." Yami replied.
"But you should have remembered me when you got them back. We were best friends. Us and Mana were inseperable rememeber?" She asked.
Yami smirked. "I remember. I also remember getting into a lot of troube because of the two of you." He teased.
"You helped with most of our plans. And you came up with at least half of them." Rain teased back.
"I won't forget you again Rain. I promise." Yami said smiling.
"Thank you my brother. I missed you."
"I missed you, too."
