Author's Note: Ideas are running after one another that I can't help but write it down. I have really lost interest in many of my stories but refuse to delete them, in case I might get ideas. Now this is idea came from TMNTMentalistTLK's story, Shadows of a Tyrant. The original story and some of the ideas I use belongs to her. Thank you and please remember to leave a review.

His eyes glowed a dangerous green as he awaited the news of his new cub. The night's cool breeze blew through his black mane. He really hoped that this one is a girl. He already has two sons but one is completely useless and don't get him started on his heir. The boy is future king material but is pretty pathetic in his book.

"Anything on your mind, son?"

The bronze fur lion growled before looking towards the direction of the voice to see his father. A pretty built dark golden lion, his dark red mane crowned his head in a regal way.

"Mohatu."

The former king looked at the younger lion with a knowing glint in his yellow eyes. The sound of a stick hitting the cool rocky surface caused the two dominant males to turn their gaze to the small cave entrance where a middle-aged baboon stood, leaning on a brown wooden staff.

"Her highness is ready to see you, my leige."

The bronze lion grunted before standing and entering the cave. The baboon waited for a moment before placing a paw on the former king's shoulder.

"Have you solved King Amor's death, yet?"

The dark golden lion lowered his head and shook it with a sigh. "No. But I might have a clue who did it."

The Sherman nodded, he had his suppsions as well. He sighed before stepping back and motioned for the lion to enter. He entered but not before he dipped his head, releasing the primate. The dark golden lion had to adjust his eyes for his aged eye sight wasn't so good in the dark. When he saw his daughter in-law a smile formed as he made eye contact with the dark brown lioness.

"Mohatu. Come say hi to your newest grandson."

The dark golden lion beamed brightly before casting his yellow eyes down to in between the queen'said paws. A small pale beige fur cub laid in her colorless paws. "Uru, he's beautiful." he moves his eyes from the queen and prince to his son. "Don't you agree, Ahadi?"

The bronze lion snarled. Her really could care less about this new cub. Especially since this cub poses resemblance to his deceased brother. He growled at the thought of his older brother before standing and stalking out of the small cave.

Uru shared a look with her father in-law before looking towards her retreating mate. "Ahadi?" the bronze lion stopped and looked over his shoulder. "What are we going to name him?"

Ahadi humped before turning his head around and continued out of the cave. "Whatever you want."

Uru sighed before looking at her son who was asleep in her paws. With a deep breath she looked at the dark golden lion. "Can you bring the boys?"

Mohatu smiled with a nod he nuzzled the new mother before leaving the small cave. His wind going in twirls as he played the scene over. His eyes widened when he realized it, put the pieces together. But before he could think on it to long, something, someone pounced on him. Receiving a hard hit to the side caused the old lion to stumble before falling off of the rocky fortress. He landed on his side which took his breath away and broke a bunch of his bones. A painful cough caused him to spit up some thick blood. He felt the warmth slowly leave his body. The last thing he saw was a pair of green eyes glowing down on him before everything was swallowed up in complete darkness.
