Ange: I'm a Phoenix Wright Addict. And I'm only on the first game. This is from the second case in the first game "Turnabout Sisters" it's what I'm currently on now. Darn that Edgeworth his whole face is a sham! Anyways this is my first in the series just so you know. I tried to make it a short drabble. Well technically it's a long drabble a short one shot so enjoy and review.
Disclaimer: Is a sham!
Intoxication
He was intoxicated by her tears.
-
Entering into Mia's office Phoenix saw her highlighted from the glimmering moonlight kneeling next to Mia her crystalline tears drawing him in.
-
If it wasn't for the scent of blood that hung heavy over the office he could drown himself in her misery listening to the musical tilt in her sobs.
-
But then he saw his chief his own Mia Fey slumped and lifeless with that damn clock lying next to her.
-
Yet the girl dressed in that strange garb distracted him and he found himself torn. Should he investigate to see if his Chief was okay or should he console the girl who pulled on his heart strings without realizing it?
-
The decision seemed to have been made up for him for the teary eyed women finally noticed his presence and walked over to him on unsteady feet. Who was this mystery girl he wondered and he asked just this much staring down into her pale face her eyes red rimmed and still brimming with tears.
-
But she said nothing and just looked up at him, lost in her tumult. Lost in her sorrow.
-
And without a sound she fainted away at his feet.
-
Springing into action Phoenix picked her up and her slight frame surprised him leaving him unable to resist clutching her tighter relishing in her dainty form her face still troubled even with unconsciousness being her respite.
-
Laying her on the outside couch he made a decision right there and then that as he brushed her flyaway hair strands back and smoothed out the worry wrinkles from her otherwise flawless face he would do his job as an attorney…
-
And never abandon this damsel he now feels so attached towards.
-
He would help her in any way possible.
-
If only because he still remains intoxicated by her tears…
-
And drawn to the music that is her mournful weeping.
