Prologue
The sun had set low on the horizon; casting a pinkish glow over the village known as Konoha. An eerie shadow cast over a certain man. This man no longer had feeling. His head was bowed low with his silver locks falling loosely over his cut and bruised face. Tied to a chair, he was unable to move. Thick ropes were tied to his wrists and ankles as to his naked bleeding torso.
"Are you going to talk now, Kakashi?" a man said, his face covered by a raggedy cloth.
Kakashi said nothing.
"Fine, have it your way." The other man walked out but quickly returned with some kind of liquid and needle. He stuck the needle into the vile, drawing this red liquid. Forcefully, he stabbed it into Kakashi's back and listened with delight as the copy ninja screamed. The man chucked the needle aside. He grabbed Kakashi by his sliver hair and yanked his head up. "I hope you die in hell, you bastard." He let go of Kakashi, walking away as he did but immediately turned around and nailed the side of the jonin's head with his fist. The man spat at him and ran out the door, closing and locking it as he did.
Kakashi was left alone. He quickly acted upon this. With his hands he reached into his waist belt and pulled out a knife. He cut away at the rope trying not to cut off something of his own. When he was free he couldn't feel any part of his body. He limply fell to the cold stone floor and laid there. The copy ninja's wounds re-opened revealing three inch gashes on his torso. "Damn," he mumbled to himself. His body lay in a sea of blood. His vision became blurry and all feeling was gone.
"I told you Kakashi," a voice in his head said. "Never disobey the rules."
Father? He thought. "Help me."
