(Five years later. Hanazono Summer Estate)
The wind lightly pulled over the large house as its occupants worked in a spanning flowerbed. Spring had taken early and the two women were all too happy to be planting the flowers.
"You know, I'm glad spring came early. Winter was so depressing." The younger of the two said. She had only been off of the hill for three years and still missed the flowers growing year round. Often during the riding season, she would help Hikari tend to the chores while Amane was away.
Three springs ago now she had left with all the others much to the sadness of the younger girls. Collage had always been a possibility to her. Despite that she found herself spending even more time with …
"I have always thought that the seasons were just seasons. But, I agree. It is very refreshing to have watched you blossom with the flowers these past few years." The older said with a soft smile. Even in university she had become popular. She had caught the sight of many and had seen two freshman classes mature and ascend. Many beautiful girls had come to pass her vision. But her days of roving had long been over.
"Shizuma!" The younger said with a slight smile and blush. Gold eyes peered at her playfully as if the she-wolf was expecting her rabbit to hop away and start the chase.
"I was only being polite. We are outside Nagisa. I'll save the more 'colorful' comments for later." Shizuma said allowing her predatory eyes to flash her intentions causing the playful smile from Nagisa to widen. Truth being that being the chased was just as fun as being the chaser.
"There! Done!" Nagisa said cheerfully as she got off of her knees smacking them to remove the dirt from her pants. When her vision rose, Shizuma was nowhere in sight. But her whereabouts were soon known as long arms slid around Nagisa's waist causing her to jump and yelp and the owner of the arms to chuckle.
"I get a yelp now too? The changing seasons really did raise your spirits." Shizuma said as she loosened her grip and Nagisa spun to face her. And, as so many times before, Nagisa allowed herself to feel the shivers of emotion. She then stood on her booted toes and kissed the woman she hopelessly had fallen for over and over again. It was never once, but every morning. Every time she woke to find Shizuma beside her it was like when they first met.
"Let's go inside. I'm anxious to experience the night sky once more." Nagisa said as they both walked towards the house, hand in hand, awaiting the blessings of the new season.
