Heres a little story I wrote for my English class. My classmates wanted me to read it, so I did, and they loved it. One person even said I should get a hundered no matter what and I did, but for the right reasons of course. Enjoy!
It was just another day at soccer practice with the Inazuma Eleven soccer team. Everyone was practicing with all their heart for their upcoming match. Although, as everyone was happily playing, a certain little manager did not share her friends happiness.
"Hikari, are you ok?" Aki, a fellow manager, asks.
"Y-yes, of course!" Hikari flusters.
Aki looks at her friend suspiciously before she reverts her gaze back to the team.
Hikari breaths a sigh of relief. She is irresolute about telling anyone her dilemma because she did not know if she wanted help or not. She did not want anyone to know what happened, especially her big brother, Fubuki Shirou.
After practice, everyone was looking very slovenly and dirty after all that hard practicing. They were also very torpid and sluggish because they worked so hard, so they all headed to the showers, but before that Fubuki approaches Hikari.
"Hikari, are you ok?" Fubuki asks suspiciously.
"O-of course, why would not you think so?" She flusters for the second time that day.
"Never mind." He says before running off.
After everyone has finished, they all head back outside.
"Hey, Hikari, you have not smiled at all today, are you ok?" Endou asks.
Hikari forces a smile and nods.
"Hikari, I know you are hiding something, so don't try to hide it." Fubuki says in his big brother tone with his arms crossed. Whenever Hikari was not acting like herself, Fubuki always had a supposition that there was something wrong because it has happened before, so he just assumed it.
Hikari sighed knowing that something like this would not be evanescent and vanish into thin air. She had to say something eventually.
"I-I… kind of got an 85% on my vocabulary test…" she mutters. She thinks vocabulary tests are an anathema or an object of intense dislike.
"Is that what this was about?" Fubuki laughs a little.
"It's not funny! I've never gotten a grade that low before." Hikari defends.
"Listen. An 85% is not bad at all. It's actually very good." Fubuki says in adulation and praise.
"Yeah, that's not bad. Just today I got a 75% on my vocabulary test." Endou smiles proudly, in attempt to resuscitate Hikari's spirit and bring back her happy self.
"But, Captain, isn't that a bad grade?" Hikari looks at her captain with a nebulous look. She was confused about why her captain was so happy over such a poor grade.
"Not at all! I failed my last one, so I improved!" Endou answers with his signature smile.
"And Hikari, that is why you do not ever follow Endou's example when it comes to school, only with soccer." Kidou, a midfielder, informs as Endou looks at his friend with an annoyed expression.
"Yeah, Endou, you are culpable for not studying. You deserve all the blame for your bad grades." Kazemaru teases as Endou pouts.
Everyone laughs at this. Hikari starts to laugh as well, which was nice because she is only but a novice when it comes to sadness. She is always so happy so when she was sad she was only a trainee because she has not experienced it enough to know how to really be sad. Although, the team was just happy to see she was laughing and smiling again.
"So are you all better now?" Fubuki asks patting her head.
Hikari nods happily, as the day draws to a close.
Hope you enjoyed! All the vocab words are underlined. I DO NOT OWN INAZUMA ELEVEN!
