Diana Prince couldn't believe her eyes. She'd never seen so many costumes before, not even at the annual Justice League Christmas party. Bruce had told her a lot about comic book conventions on the ride over, but nothing he said had quite prepared her for the spectacle inside the convention center.
"Nice costume lady," said one passerby.
Diana smiled and said, "Thanks." At Bruce's urging she'd worn her Wonder Woman attire.
"I don't think it'll win the costume contest or anything, but it's not a bad Wonder Woman."
Diana's smile disappeared. She looked over at Bruce, who was laughing – and not wearing his Batman outfit.
"I told you."
