Preface

I tried to stay conscious as he walked towards me. The smell of blood filled my nostrils making me dizzy. I stepped backwards and felt the rough, cold, stone wall press into my back. I clutched onto my shoulder tightly, blood seeped from between my fingers, dripping onto the floor like red raindrops. This would be the end, but at least he was safe….for now. I looked up and stared at the face of my killer. I would never tell him what he wanted to know, it was more than just my life at risk.
