Kendall always wanted a little brother as he was an only child. He had friends with who he could hang out, but he had nobody at home. He only had his parents, and they wouldn't want to play with his toys. He had no one to protect from bullies, or give advice.
That's why he treated his friend's brother like his own. Logan was a shy little guy, but very playful. He could talk hours about the Disney movies he'd watched. His favorite one is Toy Story. He would tell you how he wanted to be buzz and that Kendall could be Woody.
Logan worshipped Kendall. You could always see the adoration he had for him in his eyes. He looked up to him. He was his hero. He always hoped that when James had friends over, Kendall would be there too. His big brother's friends were cool, but Kendall was different. He always said hi to him and sometimes when he was babysitting with James, he would put him to bed and tell a story. He would cuddle with his teddy bear he named after him.
When Kendall's mother got free tickets to a theme park he couldn't wait to take little Logie with him.
It was already getting dark when they were sitting on a bench sharing their cotton candy on a stick. They had almost gone in every ride; Kendall even got him a stuffed animal he won. There was only one thing left; the big Ferris wheel.
Kendall put his arm on Logan's shoulders and he curled immediately up against him, putting his arms around his waist with the stuffed animals under his arm. "Did you have fun little buddy?" He looked down to see Logan's face pressed against his side; smiling.
"Yes." He was looking up now with his big brown eyes, twinkling from the bright lights. "But now you have to kiss me."
Kendall almost choked on his own spit when the words left the little guy's mouth. "What did you say there?" Did he even know what he was requesting?
"Well, you already won me this stuffed animal. And we're almost at the top of the Ferris wheel. That's where you kiss on a date." He said it as it was the most logical thing in the world. And he looked so adorable with his big smile on his face.
So Kendall waited so they were exactly at the highest point before he leaned down and pressed his lips on the little boy's lightly in a little kiss. When he pulled back Logan just had this smug look on his face before he buried it again in his side. Kendall just chuckled at the boy's actions.
"You're my boyfriend now."
