Hi this is my first Sonic story so please let me know what you think
Blaze had just got in a fight with Amy when she ran off. She slipped away into her room and heated the door knob up with her pyrokinesis so no one would try to bother her not even Sonic. She sat with her face buried in her arms utterly ashamed about her outburst. She heard someone pulling at the door and heated it up more.
"Ouch"she heard Sonic yell.
"Sorry Sonic"she whispered. She hadn't meant to hurt her friend but she needed to be alone after all that's how she lived most of her life. Then she heard the door burst open and when she looked up she saw Shadow.
"H-How did you"she asked looking at the door. He didn't say anything but he stood in front of her with his arms crossed. Blaze ignored him and put her head back on her knees.
"Please just leave me be"she said. After awhile she realized the uncomfortable feeling that was in the air because he still hadn't left.
"Leave me"she said looking up at him.
"You can't order me you aren't my princess"he said. She knew he had a point but that didn't change her mind. No one was supposed to see her like this she was supposed to be perfect. She was looking at him when she realized his hand was red and obviously irritated. She grew wide eyed and stood up.
"May I see you're hand"she asked. He complied holding out his hand to her. She sat him on the bed and gently touched his red and blistering hand. She saw him wince but he remained silent.
"I'll fix that right away"she said standing up to find some bandages.
"It's not that bad i'll live"he said. She ignored him and grabbed some bandages gently wrapping his hands.
"Why did you come here"she asked.
"I overheard you're little squabble with Amy"he said back. When Blaze heard this she frowned and looked away ashamed.
"Don't look so disappointed princess Amy can get on everyone's nerves sometimes"he said. Especially his he mentally added.
"I let her get under my skin. As a princess I am supposed to remain calm at all times"she said.
"Why do you live by such stupid rules"he asked.
"It's how I was raised a guardian must act this way if they wish to succeed"she said.
"Screw em"he said.
"E-Excuse me"Blaze asked wide eyed.
"Live a little don't be so uptight"he said.
"But as a princess I-"
"You have a duty to yourself to"he said.
"What kind of duty would possibly come before me people"she asked looking at him like he was insane.
"Well what about romance"Shadow asked.
"I don't need it. It doesn't seem so special i'm not sure why Amy is so crazy about it"she said. Shadow just shook his head and chuckled before grabbing Blaze by the chin and kissing her on the lips. He pulled away after a little bit looking at her. He had to try really hard not to smile when he saw her red cheeks and shocked face.
"I um...I.. I see why Amy likes it"Blaze said. Shadow just chuckled and moved to stand up.
"Wait"Blaze said grabbing Shadow by the arm. Shadow turned and looked at her. "Could you...do it again"Blaze asked looking away. Shadow smirked and crashed his lips into her own.
