Jesse: Squak! (Seriously?) Squak squak! (Why are you doing this?)
Me: Because, why not?
Jesse: … (…)
Noctis: Uh... Hey.
Me: Hi!
Noctis: So uh... What do I do here again?
Me: You can go over and fish if you want.
Noctis: Fish? Sure! *walks over to the fishing area and starts to fish*
Me: Aaaand there he goes. But, without further ado, let's begin Stranger Than Fiction!
Chapter 1: Awakening

My body was numb.
I groaned, blinking my eyes open, only to quickly shut them at the sight of the bright sun. Opening my eyes more quickly, I turned over and pushed myself up with my wings. Another day I had spent sleeping on the grass. Oh, yeah, by the way, I'm a chocobo. Anyways, as I stood up and stretched, I realized there was something behind me. I turned around and... There was an object? I picked it up. It was an old, rusty medal. 'Medal of Encouragement.' I smiled and put it on my belt-thingy. Heck, I was always up for a little adventure. As long as that 'little' adventure didn't hurt me too much.
"Hello? Anybody there?"
I shook my head, sighing. There were other voices. Ones I didn't know. Three... No, four.
"Hey! I heard a chocobo!"
I jumped up. "AAH!" My heart was racing. Quickly, I spun around and ran. "Probably a rider chocobo, Prompto." So the first voice's name was Prompto. It didn't really matter. That was when I crashed into a rock, which made me run into three other rocks, and towards a cliff. I squaked in fear. Right before I fell off, though, somebody caught me. "Gotcha!" I was placed back down on the ground and looked up. There were four humans. One, who I assumed was the one to help me, turned to look at another. "Hey, Noct. You have a potion? This guy's pretty roughed up." Another human, Noct, nodded. He gave a small bottle to them. "Here you go, Prompto." The first human, Prompto, nodded, before looking back at me and giving me the potion. I used it, before looking up and smiling. "Here, let's get you to Wiz's." I tilted my head. "Do you not know who Wiz is?" Nod. "Wiz is the chocobo rancher here." Noct gestured for me to follow them. I did. Eventually, we got to a car. After Prompto, Noctis, and another human name Gladio fought a bit, they decided I would be in the back with Prompto and 'Noctis', while Prompto would give up his seat for Gladio. We got in, and Noct, apparently Noctis, told the driver, Ignis, to go to 'Wiz's Chocobo Ranch'. As we started to drive, familiar music started to play. I started to hum along. "Hey, chocobo! Look!" I looked towards Prompto. He was holding a camera. I smiled as best I could, still humming along to the melody.
