A thanksgiving feast.

Summery: L invites the entire cast of Death Note to his actual house for thanksgiving. With his Husband Light of course. Oh what will happen on this day for giving thanks.

Light? A raven haired man finds himself asking. Light turns to him. Amber eyes shining with just the simple delight at hearing his lover saying his name. "Yes L?" He replied. Without thinking L leans forward, giving his husband a soft kiss. Light smirked at his husband. "What do you want L?" He says with a smile. Pretty sure he'll give in. "I want a thanksgiving. I know it's sounds stupid but I haven't had one since Wammy's. And it would just…" "Shh" Light says cutting the nervous man off. "If you want a thanksgiving I'll give you one." "Really Light?" "Call them up!"

L looks down guiltily. "How did you know?" "Their your successors. You would have to want them here. Besides how long has it been?" "6 years." L answers. "Good. Invite them. Tell them to be here by eight. We had more then enough food. I'll just clean up a little. While you call them. Okay."

The way L's face lit up enough was enough to make Light's heart sore. He smiled as L rushed to call his successors.

L's pov:

Who should I call first? L thought Excitedly. Hmm…. Near! His mind shouted as he picked up the phone and dialed the number as quickly as he could.

"Hello?" Near's monotone voice picked up at once.

"Hello Near." I reply excitedly.

"L?" He asks shocked.

"Indeed. How would you like to come over my place tonight."

He hesitates. Then I start to hear a struggle. "Crimson give it back!" He yells.

"No!" A childish voice pouts.

"Hello? L?" The girl named Crimson asks.

"Hello. Crimson I assume?"

"Indeed. So your Nate's mentor."

I felt my blood run cold.

"Nate's?""Oh um.. Yeah. Only L could know his real name. Well and Matt and Mello. But…."

She started to go into a babbling fit.

"Crimson?" I ask.

"Yes…" She sounds like she's close to tears.

"How close are you and Near?"

"I'm not sure I should tell you." I hear the phone change positions.

"L. That was the love of my life Crimson." He says monotonously as usual, but there was a hint of emotion in his voice.

"Oh well if she's up for it….. You should both come.""WOAH!" Near screamed.

"Crimson how did you get on top of me?" He yelled.

And I feel my eyes widen again.

"We'd love to come L." She shouts. As the two are probley wrestling over the phone.

"Very good. Thank you Crimson it will be a pleasure to meet you. Now I'll call Matt."

"Bye!" They both yell before bursting out laughing.

"So I'm guessing they can come?" Light yells from across the room stirring some soup.

"Yes. Did you know Near had a girl friend?"

"WHAT?"

A/N: I do not own death note! (: So I'm gonna make a separate chapter for each phone call and how they get there and how they prepare. So maybe five chapters up by tonight.
