Out of Time Chapter 1
2E 560 Outskirts of Blackmarsh province
"Hurry, before they leave", exclaimed Ri'saam.
The last of the ships headed for Elsweyr were leaving as the Knahaten Flu ravaged the province. The Lilmothiit were trying to escape it as it started to infect their people. The last of the native non-reptilian race in Blackmarsh to be infected, it nearly wiped out their tribes located throughout Blackmarsh. Those that lived and traveled the edges of the province were lucky enough to reunite with the rest of their people.
It was at this time that the Jua'aran, or 'Fox-King', Ri'saam gathered the tribes and revealed what he was going to do.
"Listen up! This is what we are going to do. It is clear that there is no way to escape this disease. That is why we must use the Elder Scroll."
"No way! You'll lose your mind and eyesight!"
"Why not? It seems like our only chance."
The Lilmothiit were torn between the decision, but ultimately it was up to Ri'saam to do what was best for his people. It was then that he decided to open the scroll, knowing full well what would happen when he tried reading it.
4E 250 Elsweyr, near Tenmar Forest
A flash of light penetrates the darkness, lighting the area up around it. After it subsides, it is revealed that there was something left behind. That something was Jo'ra. It seemed that he arrived out of nowhere, lying wrapped up in a blanket. At that same time, his appearance changed to that of a Pahmar-raht, so that no one suspected that he was something else. It is unclear why this change happened, but nevertheless it was something that benefited him.
Then, out of nowhere, a khajiiti couple comes running to the place where they had seen the flash. There, they found Jo'ra and took him in and raised him as their own.
A few months later, Daro'ma was born, with fur as black as midnight, and the two grew up to be fast friends. They did everything together. Even getting into trouble, to which Jo'ra had no problem at all with.
When Jo'ra was 10, he was exploring the Tenmar Forest when he heard a faint crying sound. Intrigued, he went to investigate and what he found was something he would never have expected. A senche tiger kitten, all by itself. He decided then and there that he was going to raise him the best that he could. He named him Macunda after the moons Masser and Secunda, which he thought was perfect given their influence on their form at birth. They grew inseparable as time went on, never finding one without the other.
