The light flashed.
It was dull and warm,
but soon became brighter and full of life.
it started to move.
to the left at first then the right and so on.
Muffed sounds where coming frome all directions.
sounds of screams.
But the light kept moving
closer,closer to its target.
and soon it was in sight.
or more in ear shot.
the low beating sound of a heart.
and soon it becomes faster.
the camera zooms ahead as you can finally make out the words
"I need you"
"please"
"wake up john!"
Your eyes fly open
you take a milisecond to look around before throwing the door that boxed you in open
as the feeling comes back to your limps you take notice that you in zero gee
you look up and see her
the one you saved
the one that sacrificed herself for you
for humanity
you get to her
she looks panicked
"Chief!"
and you calmly say to her
"I'm here"
an explosion go's off on your right
you reach down and grab the data packet that contains her
than you jump towards the flaming ruin that was once the bulkhead
activating you thruster pack
you fly throught the fire, ignoring the pain and your protesting limbs
you fly off to the side to avoid a peice of debris
then grab the railing above you
your body twists in a backflip motion
causing more intense pain to rack your body
you flip ends when your feet smash into the double doors blocking your path
as they fly open you re-ajust yourself and hit the turbo
debris fly's over your head when you spot a silver flash
it turns into a pistol
or what looks like one
you reach for it and grab the strange weapon
and a second later you fire it
the kick knocks it back into your hands
and out shoots a small rocket
it fly's ahead of you and impacts with the bulkhead
beyond is the black void
your going so fast your already throught the hole
you stop yourself by grabing a peice of the ship
lowering yourself she activates your magnetic boots
and you touch down
reaching to your belt you pull out another rpg and load your weapon
the blackness of space is scared away by bright bleu hole opening for you and your ship
and as you careen towards it all you can think is
"And so it begin's again"
