Just Our Luck

"Push Carter push!" Jack shouted with all the support he could offer.
"I am!" Sam shouted back through gritted teeth as she gave it all the strength she had.
"You gotta push harder!" Jack shouted again.
"Why don't you come back here and push!" Sam muttered under her breath.
"Perhaps if I were to lend assistance…" Teal'c began.
"Nope, Carter reckons that she is strong enough to get this baby out," Jack stated.
"So we're going to just sit here and let her?" Daniel asked.
"I would like to remind you that she insulted me," Jack said.
"I believe it was you O'Neill who insulted her first," Teal'c commented.
"Details." Jack waved a hand dismissively.
"That's it!" Daniel grabbed the door handle and climbed out of the vehicle in disgust.
"Hey where are you going!" Jack yelled.
"To help Sam!" Daniel shouted back.
"Indeed." Teal'c said, who was also climbing out of the car.
"Get back here or you're not getting any beer!" Jack ordered, but they weren't listening.
Teal'c and Daniel walked to the rear of the 4WD and placed their hands on the back window.
"Let's get this thing out so we can get to the cabin and out of this weather," Daniel told the others.
"Sounds great," Sam replied.
"On three," Teal'c said.
"One…two…THREE!"
The three of them pushed as hard as they could as Jack floored the accelerator spinning the wheels of the car and sending mud everywhere.
"It's starting to budge," Sam yelled as inch by inch the vehicle moved out of the mud hole it was stuck in.
Suddenly without warning the tyres hit solid ground and the 4WD jerked forward out from under the three team mates, with nothing to support them Sam, Daniel and Teal'c fell face first into the mud.
"We're out!" Jack yelled from the car, then he noticed them. "What are you doing playing in the mud, we've got fishing to do."
"All in favour of throwing him in the mud, say I," Sam proposed as she flicked the mud off her hands.
"I," Daniel replied wiping mud from his glasses and face.
They both looked to Teal'c who appeared to be the least muddiness of them. "Shall we?" he smiled.
"We shall."
The three of them climbed to their feet and started to stalk toward Jack, who had gotten out of the car.
"Looks like you lost the bet Carter," Jack said, then he saw the look in their eyes. "Now just hang on a second." He started to step back away from them as they came closer. "Now don't go doing anything you'll regret."
"Believe us O'Neill, we won't," Teal'c smiled.
"I see," Jack murmured, "I think I might go for a little jog." With that he took off in the other direction.
"You can not escape!" Teal'c shouted as he chased after him.
Sam and Daniel stood next to the 4WD and watched as the pair disappeared amongst the trees.
"I've got an idea," Daniel said. "How about we sit in Jack's car and wait for them to come back."
"Great idea," Sam replied, "but we'd better be careful not to dirty the interior."
"Yep, we'll be extra careful," Daniel said.
They both laughed as they climbed into the front seats-mud and all-and waited for Teal'c to drag Jack back.

Thankyou to all that read and review this story.
Sorry for it being short and simple, but let me know what you thought.
I don't know if any of you have read my other story 'Get Me Down', but I am thinking about writing a sequel and prequel to it, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what (1- prequel) Mitchell and Daniel can do to Vala. And (2- sequel ) of what Vala and Daniel can do to Mitchell. It has to be some sort of April Fools joke.
