It's my first fanfic! I love reading stories by GamerofAction44XD and decided I would give it a try and try to write in his style. In this story, we are traveling back with Dr. Who and his companion to a time when Severus was a teenager at Hogwarts. Snape was always my favorite character in Harry Potter and Dr. Who is a great series! But, I think Doctor Who needs a teenage companion so he is finally getting one.
"Hurry up! Run!" A tall thin man wearing a mud-colored leather jacket grabbed a teen by the wrist and pulled him into a blue phone booth. Then a familiar screeching pumping noise exploded from below and the man sighed with relief.
"That was very brave of you, but not very smart. I need you to be more cautious," said the clean-shaven man as he released the boy's wrist.
"I like to throw caution to the wind, Doctor! I feel strong and smarter than all these noodleheads. It's time to show them who's boss. You are always running away when we need to stand our ground." The confident human-looking boy had a shock of bright neon blue hair that was tousled with some strands standing up in attention while others bowed down over his forehead to the disarmingly blue eyes below.
"Ha-ha. To be young and so sure of yourself. It feels like yesterday. I think it's time you visited a planet with people who can equal-" The man's words came to a complete stop as a lightning bolt slammed into the box-like craft spinning it sideways. The pumping noise whirred into a sound of drilling as it crashed through a warped wall that seemed to push and pull the craft at the same time. It was hard to tell how much time had passed. Was it a minute or was it a year? Then silence.
They looked at each other. The older one raised his eyebrows in surprise while the younger one listened intently for signs of life, movement, or anything. The boy stood up, walked to the door, and opened it wide. They had landed in grass and in the distance was a dark castle whose spires were engulfed in clouds while teenagers swooped overhead on brooms throwing balls!
"Where are we?"
"I'm not so sure. It seems like earth, but these people seem quite different."
The boy exited the craft a few feet as a whirring flew by his ear, nicking his lobe as a teardrop of red liquid dropped to his shoulder. "Agh! - What was that!" A beautiful girl with hair like molten bronze, flew by on a stick and knocked him down with her strong shoulders as she chased the offending blur.
A gangly teen flew by next asking if everyone was OK, was slammed in the head with a ball, fell off his scraggly branch-like brush, and bounced to the ground with a thud and a quiet moan. A burst of laughter erupted from the stands.
The blue-haired teen reached his hand down toward the injured flyer, "We are just fine, but I think you might not be. They call me D."
The boy who lay prone in the weeds grabbed the outstretched hand and pulled himself to his knees and rubbed his neck. "Hi D. I'm Severus. I thought you might have been attacked by the snitch."
"I was attacked by something. It clipped my ear. But, I think I'm in better shape than you," said D.
An egg had appeared on Severus' forehead and a thin layer of light purple was darkening around one eye. "I've had it with this game! I'm brutally bludgeoned and everyone just laughs at me! This is not improving my reputation which is already in tatters," Severus complained angrily as the creases in his forehead furrowed more deeply and his brown eyes darkened like a squall shattering a sunny day.
"Boy, that was a quick change. It's not that bad," said D.
"You don't understand. She will never go with me to the dance now," said a dejected Severus. "I just want to be the hero for once."
