Chapter 1: Make-believing At Platform 9 & ¾
"Harry! Ron!" Hermione yelled running over to them. "How are you?!" She gave Harry a hug. When she went to give Ron one, she stopped in mid air. "Oh! No!" Her face fell.
"What?" Harry asked. He turned around to see what Hermione was looking at. A very handsome boy came walking into Kings Cross flanked by 4 girls.
"My friends.... & Josh." She added sickly.
"Got yourself an admirer, Hermione?" Ron teased.
"Shut up! He's a disgusting, self-centered, rich snob, pig! He's been stalking me ALL SUMMER!" She said a little loudly.
"Hey, Hermione! Over here!" One of the girls waved.
"Go! If you don't come back in 5 minutes, I'll come rescue you!" Harry said.
"Thanks Harry! I owe you one!" She said walking away.
"More like two! What's up with that, Harry? You don't have, like, feelings for Herm or something?" Ron asked suspiciously.
"No! She's our friend." Harry said speaking over Ron's shoulder. Hermione looked back at Harry with a pleading look because Josh was advancing on her.
Harry snuck up behind her. "Hello, Herm! You know, if you don't hurry up, your going to miss the train!" He said.
Hermione turned around looking relived. "Oh! Hermione! Who IS this!" One of the girls asked eyeing Harry.
"Oh! Harry! He's just my." She looked up at Harry & put her arm around his shoulder. ".my boyfriend!" Harry was stunned, the girls were astonished, & Josh was flabbergasted.
"What! Boyfriend! You NEVER told ME you had ONE! What about ME, Herm? I love you!" Josh said.
Harry rapped his arm around Hermione's waist. "Excuse me! But I would LIKE to suggest that you would back off, punk!" He said glaring at Josh. "Come, love! The train is about to leave!"
" 'Bye!" Hermione said turn around & they headed for platform 9 & ¾.
