A/N: I've tried out a new style of writing so reviews would be wonderful.
Thanks to The Doctor At Baker Street for being my beta.
Sherlock and John walk into 221B and stop suddenly. On the table by the window, there's a new CD player. On it, there's a note that reads:
"Hello friends!
"I was just thinking about how grateful I am to have you two. You make my life so much more interesting! As a thank you, I bought you this new CD player.
"Enjoy!
"Jim Moriarty XOXO"
As Sherlock reads the note, John curiously presses the play button. Classical music fills the flat. Sherlock looks over.
"What did you do?" Sherlock questions.
"I pressed the play button," John replies, "is anything wrong?"
"How does Moriarty know my favorite song?"
"This is your favorite song?" John asks, incredulous.
"Yes, John, I happen to like this song," Sherlock replies sharply.
"Alright," John says, not wanting to start an argument.
When the classical piece finishes, Clocks by Coldplay starts to play.
"Do you know this song?" Sherlock asks.
"Yes, it's my favorite. How does Moriarty know know that?"
"I don't know," Sherlock is silent for a minute, "We'll have to ask him next time we see him. Until then, let's just enjoy the music."
For the rest of the night, the two friends listen to the music and learn more about each other's taste in music.
