"That's enough, Scott!"

The Origami Killer, who is revealed to be none other Scott Shelby, turns around to see his former colleague, Carter Blake, holding him at gunpoint just as he's about to kill Norman Jayden, the FBI agent assigned to work with the police especially the latter into investigating the case.

"Carter, this isn't what it looks like," Scott pleaded with him and makes his accusation on the man who rescued Shaun Mars rather than his father. "This man here, he's the Origami Killer! He tried to kill this young boy, but I arrived just in time to stop him!"

"Don't you lie to me, Scott! I saw what you did when I came here!" Blake refuses to listen to his pleas. The revelation of him being the Origami Killer has left him feeling betrayed. "I can't fucking believe this! Why, Scott?! Why are you the Origami Killer?! You were my partner, my friend!"

Norman could only stare what is going on between the two men. Did they have some history with each other?

"I'm really sorry for everything, Carter," Scott looked up to his former partner and friend. "All I wanted... is to look for a father capable of sacrificing himself to save his son."

"Is that why you've been drowning young boys? Just for that reason?" Blake is indignant of his motive, and that he still keeps his gun pointed at him.

"You don't understand. My father was a drunk, and he didn't lift one finger to save John on that fateful day."

"What am I to you now, Scott? Is our friendship nothing to us anymore? Were you just thankful I let you go when your fingerprints were on Manfred's shop because you are the killer?"

All the police lieutenant could see is his former partner being all silent about it. It's as if he has realized the answer.

"I trusted you, Scott," Blake snapped with his gun still pointed at the person who was thought to be his friend. "I trusted you, and you stabbed me in the back!"

"I never wanted for this to happen between us, Carter," Scott pointed his gun in return. "Only one of us will walk away after this."

"Funny, same thing I'm gonna say to you."

Suddenly, their guns go off, each being shot in the shoulder by the other. Despite this, Scott attempted to run for his escape, and Norman attempts to pursue him, but Blake grabbed his wrist to stop him.

"Whoa, where are you going, Jayden?" he asked.

"Where do you think? I gotta stop him!" was his obvious answer.

"Don't worry, he won't. I called for backup, unlike you," Blake said the obvious.

With those words, Norman calmed down, and Blake lets his wrist go. In fact, as Scott tried to escape them from the front door, the police is swarming all over it with guns pointed at his direction.

It is no use for him to escape. Knowing this, he puts his hands in the air as a sign of surrender with two cops nearby restrained him with handcuffs. Next, Norman and Blake leave the warehouse with Shaun being carried by the former.

It's all in the night's work to end the reign of the Origami Killer.

Author's Note: Can you believe one of the plot holes of the game is that Blake only shows up in the warehouse if Ethan comes alone or all the four main characters are there? Well, this fanfiction is about what would it be like if he shows up if Norman comes alone and how he would feel when he found out that Scott is the Origami Killer.
