I'm Done
By xScarletxInkx
Summary: Andy is done. Done with men, done with being hurt, done with being left behind; No more, she tells herself because she cannot take the pain.
AN: This just hit me with such power that I had to get it out of my system.
Disclaimer: I do not own Rookie Blue.
"I'm done, Nick." Andy turned her head just before opening the door to the car and walking into the station. They had just gotten back from their 6 month long UC, today was their first day back at 15.
"Andy, come on. It can't be that bad. You were just fine before we went under and you said you were fine when we left your place, what changed between then and now?" Nick asked, following her. Trying to get her to talk to him.
"Like, I said I'm done. Done with being hurt. Done with being left behind by everyone. Done with men. I should ask Traci if she wants to date. Maybe that will get me somewhere." Andy shot over her shoulder as she passed Sam's desk, him and Shaw leaning against it talking to each other.
Sam looked up when he heard Andy talking to someone, and heard her state she was done with men and the radical statement about dating Traci, at least he hoped it was a radical statement.
"Andy! What the hell?" Nick moved in front of her and stopped her in her tracks.
"No, Nick I'm done. I have bad tastes in men, its common knowledge. First all of my bad boy boyfriends from the time I was in high school, then there was Luke and look where that got me, then there was Sam. No, I can't do it anymore. I can't open myself up to anyone else. I'm done." Andy moved around him and into the women's locker room effectively ending the conversation.
Sam sat looking at where she had just been slack jawed and feeling like he'd just been sucker punched. If he had known how badly he had hurt her, he would have never let her walk out of his life. In fact, I need to go talk some sense into her right now. And with that he was up off the desk and into the women's locker room.
Andy felt more than saw Sam enter the room, and not surprised at all she shook her head and resolutely refused to look at him. "Just go away. I don't want to talk to you."
"Andy, sweetheart, please-" That was as far as he got before she swung around and slapped him.
"Don't you dare sweetheart me. Don't you dare think that you can come in here and apologize and then everything is going to be hunky-dory. Because it's not. It won't ever be. Now get out of here." Andy turned back around staring at her locker listening as the door closed behind him.
