Have you ever felt those butterflies in your stomach, but they're not due to nervousness? Have you ever felt that feeling where you've awakened yourself to the point that you feel inspired? They're strong feelings, emotions, and they can occur from anything that seems so... beautiful - and it all derives from a simple word known as 'nostalgia.' I honestly don't know what you want me to say - but just to get it out there because it came in my mind and I just need it out, I am trying my absolute best to not cause any arguments: and I am a big fan of whatever stories that include something like video game franchises.
Anyway, now that that's gone, let's talk about nostalgia. Nostalgia is sentiment - happiness, inspiration, motivation, encouragement... whatever. It can be from simple music that feels like you want to climb a mountain and get to the peak, to the top. It's those times when that feeling of butterflies in your stomach are not due to nervousness, but because you feel something. Something great? Something memorable? Something like that, yes, but what you feel exactly is nostalgia.
You cannot simply [to some people] put it into words - because it's hard, sometimes, to tell what you feel. You comment about it or something like that, and you want others to feel that inspiration, that climbing-up-the-mountain feeling too. Nostalgia can occur from anything - and it seems like inspiration. You're motivated; and you're aware.
It's truly amazing.
Right? :p
