Idioticus Knight

Akira Cruz blinked furiously, staring down the calm male standing in front of her. "You are an insufferable prat, Knight! A bit ironic for your name, isn't it?" she snarled, crossing her pale and slightly skinny arms. Leon raised a dark eyebrow, grey eyes amused.
"I don't understand you, Cruz. Weren't you the one moaning – rather disturbingly, may I add – about Professor Slughorn?" James and Sirius sniggered at the implication; Lily Evans shot them a ferocious glare.
The brunette spluttered, "Y-yes, I did, but I didn't tell you to slip him a potion for the bloody runs so that the 'party' was canceled!" she paused, scrunching up her nose. "That's pretty disgusting to think about, actually." The two dark-hair Marauders looked green. Leon rolled his eyes.
"If you are … done with screeching," Akira bristled, "then I shall head back to my dormitory." With a smirk, he turned around and stalked up the spiral staircase, brushing his strange, shoulder-length black spikes out of his eyes.
"I do not screech!" yelled Akira, but then flushed. "Maybe … a little ..." she mumbled, staring at her toes. Lily slapped a hand over her emerald eyes, and dragged the sweater-loving girl back to the sixth year girls' dormitory. "Hey – your nails are piercing me!"
Remus watched the whole ordeal through amused amber eyes, looking over his thick volume of Veela Bride, Werewolf Groom. Peter yawned through a mouthful of cheese balls, as Sirius mustered a dirty look at him, glancing at the fallen, saliva-coated cheese ball. "I'm gonna be sick, Peter ..."
"Oh," said Peter in a garbled voice, not bothering to cover his mouth in an attempt to redeem his place, "Sow-ry, Siwrus." He chewed some more. "'M almosh't d'un." Chew, chew. A bit of cheese was plastered to his chin, near his purple-ish lips and surprisingly – his ears.
Sirius grimaced and strode upstairs, Remus (after carefully closing and marking his book) and James (who quickly recollected the tiny Snitch from a group of giggling girls in their fourth year) following hastily.
AN: Well, I've learned my lesson from posting stupid stuff and expecting reviews overnight, so I thought I'd do a pilot issue instead; if I get good enough feedback from this little ... um, preview or trailer of sorts, I'll go ahead, write the first chapter and post the story. Keep in mind that this only shows the two main OCs (story is NOT completely OC-centric, believe me) and a bit of Lily & the Marauders. So - please review and tell me what'cha think!
