Day one: sunset Chapter One
The first thing I became aware of was the temperature around me, sort of warm but not hot and cold but not freezing either. It was that kind of atmosphere that seemed just perfect, well, it seemed perfect to me anyway.
Then sound. I heard a gentle breeze rustling against something. It took me a second to figure out what that thing might have been, and then all of a sudden, I got it. Trees rustling in the wind, there was something familiar about that sound like a forgotten memory I couldn't quite place my finger on. I heard trickling, like water only in great quantity, a water fall.
Then all of my senses seemed to come to me more quickly as I gained consciousness. My head felt woozy as I tried to sit up from the hard ground beneath me.
When I stood up and managed to collect my thoughts and feel stable on my own two feet I looked around myself, to my surprise everything looked pixelated (even me). The leaved on trees where square the trunks included, the clouds where square, the mountains-some of which reaching high enough as to go through the white clouds- where ridged as if they were made out on little blocks.
Everything seemed so beautiful here, but as I watched the huge square sun descend in the horizon and the silvery light of the moon take over. I had a gut feeling that I was in grave danger.
That's when an arrow missed my head by about two inches followed by a gurgling moan.
I was so screwed.
Tell me what you think. Should I continue?
