E/O Drabble Word Challenge- Word: BLUNT
A/N:This is a double drabble. 100 words ea. and 'blunt' used in both parts. yay! Thanks for letting me play the Drabble Game! Hope you enjoy my little drabbles and as always- be on the lookout for lurking typos.

Part 1
Sam watched in pained patience as Dean tried to focus, his glassy eyes rolling wonkily.
Doctor called it "blunt force trauma". Sam called it "immoveable object meet Dean's head... again".
Head injuries didn't usually mean hospital visits. The Winchester brothers knew how to deal with concussions, they saw them quite frequently after all. But when the concussed brother couldn't keep his eyes open for more than a few seconds and kept rambling nonsense about bunnies and handcuffs, then it was time for the non-concussed brother to haul the crazy talking brother to the nearest medical professional... without panicking.

Part 2
Sam had always felt it was asking a lot of the non-injured brother, to remain calm as he rushed to get the injured brother professional help .
Case in point, Sam still felt shaky from the frantic trip and the doctor's blunt assessment- skull fracture, possible bleeding, probable surgery... panic was still a lingering possibility.
"S'mmy? Wha' happn'd?" Dean's slurry voiced question interrupted Sam's pondering.
Leaning closer, Sam placed a hand gently on his restless brother's chest. "I'm right here Dean. You're gonna be fine." The firm tone quieted Dean and Sam settled in to watch and wait.
