Marco sat on his bed, holding the small red box in his hand. ''I hope she'll like it. It's not much but,'' He stood up and stepped into the hallway, heading for Star's room. Once at her door he took a deep breath and knocked, ''Star may I come in?''
A few moments later Star opened the door, ''Hey Marco, what is it.''
''Well I-uh, I have, something for , you.'' Marco said nervously, handing her the red box. Star took in her hand eyeing it curiously, ''Marco what's this for?''
''Um it's for Valentine's Day. It's a holiday on Earth where you give something special to someone in the name of love.''
''Oh.'' Star lifted the lid and pulled out a neon green bracelet with a shiny, bright blue gemstone in the center.
''I made it myself, I know it's not anything special but-''
''Marco, this is so sweet. It's perfect.'' Star wrapped her arms around him and then gave him a kiss on the cheek. ''Thank you.''
Marco began blushing uncontrollaby and then...fainted. Star smiled and rolled her eyes, ''Ah classic Marco.''
