Something terrible has invaded Earth. Humanity is once again at the mercy of an alien foe. Thankfully the countries are there to look after their people, just as they always have. But what happens when the very existence of these countries is put in jeopardy? What could be so strong as to take down entire nations? And how will one mad man make all the difference?

Throughout Earth's history there are those who have watched over humanity ever since the beginning. War after war, treaty after treaty, disaster after disaster,

day after day are those who stand watch, sometimes interfering, sometimes just observing. They have seen the best and worse of that fantastically curious race

called humankind, and despite the faults of that species, they all love it dearly. These individuals very much reflect their beloved human race. Or perhaps the

human race reflects them. Chicken or the egg, right? All that can be said about these beings is that they always have and always will be there watching over

Man. They will watch Earth's populace evolve and change until its very last breathe, while their faces remain identical to the day they witnessed its first breath.

These beings who know not the clutches of age have infinite knowledge of humankind, yet oddly enough there are times they do not even know each other. But

perhaps that's just the loneliness that comes with being a god.
