Hello! Looks like I was a little impatient... And bored. It's vacation anyway! What am I supposed to do? Oh well, advanced Merry Christmas, Dear Readers!

Additional note: I removed 2040. It just hit me that if there are old dudes in GEB then Aragami must have existed on that year! Saki must be.. Well, in our generation. I wouldn't specify the year. Please review and no haters!

ONE

(a certain year: place:Tokyo, Japan)

Saki

Ringgggg!

The noon bell rang, signalling it was time to go home. A stampede of teens rushing to the exit followed the sound. I sighed and got my stuff ready to go home..

"Saaaakiiii!" a familiar voice yelled. I turned to see a redheaded boy run to my direction.

"Oh, Kiro..." I said, a little surprised. My face burned as I remembered our previous meetings. "I am not letting you copy my homework AGAIN!"

Kiro raised his hands in defense. "No, I won't! I just wanted to invite you to brother's lab. Do you want to try his Time Leap?"

"Time... What?"

"Y'know, that thing he's been working on for months. I think it enables us to travel to the future!" he said excitedly.

Future, huh? I was still gazing emptily at the air before Kiro dragged me, making me to stumble after him.

The laboratory was basically a large room with lots of test tubes and stuff. But, the most eye-catching thing was the watch-like bracelet in a glass case. Kiro's older brother, Leo, greeted us as we arrived.

"Saki wants to try your Time leap, Leo!" Kiro exploded.

"Eh? But you are the one who dragged me all the way here!" I protested.

"Now, now. Stop bickering, you two." Leo admonished, but I can say his comment was really meant for his brother.

The redhead ignored his dialouge,"Oh, come on. You want to see it, do ya?"

"I kinda want to see what it's like... Sort of." I stammered, feeling somewhat foolish.

Kiro beamed a victorious smirk at Leo's face.

"Don't be ridiculous." the older one frowned. "What are we going to say to Mr. Yasaka?"

"She not going to be gone that long!" my friend protested.

"Okay, fine." Leo turned to me, his brown eyes gazing intensely. "But come back before dark, okay? Your parents are going to kill me."

"Yeah, yeah." I replied.

He was halfway on his explanation when the weird watch glowed in shimmering blue light.

"Hurry! Take it off!" he yelled.

"I'm trying!" I answered. I desperately tried to shake it off, but nothing happened. Before I knew it, I became engulfed in the light... And vanished.

My eyes fluttered open and adjusted to the foreign place.

Weird. The sky looks gray, and the buildings has... Holes? And they're big!

What happened here?

Was that ok? I thought it would be interesting for a normal girl living in our generation to suddenly be trapped in 2071, where all gods have fallen. Please review!
