The Right Wrong Thing

Author's note: Heyy everyone! This is my first fic for Life With Derek, even though I haven't seen the show in years. Enjoy! :D

Disclaimer- Yes, I don't own this show. If I did, why would I be writing Fanfics about it?

Casey knew there were a lot of things she shouldn't like, because she was Casey and she was born to follow the rules and always do the right thing. In the Venturi household, there were a lot of wrong things that she should abhor, but doesn't

She knows that she really shouldn't tolerate Marti being rude to people, but instead she finds it amusing.

She really should stop Edwin from bugging every room in the house with cameras, but she finds it helpful at times too.

She knew should really tell her sister to start acting more like a girl instead of some brute hockey player she seems to be going for sometimes.

She knows for a fact that shouldn't like that her mother married a person who had a son like Derek, but she did. She should absolutely hate Derek's completely obnoxious attitude, but after a while, she starts to like it.

There were a lot of things she could hate about Derek.

But she can never seem to. She can't even hate his superior male ways. His rudeness. His goal to make her life a living hell, no not even that.

"Spacey? Hey, Case? Spacey? Hello?"

Derek sighed, then started shaking Casey on the shoulders, all the while saying her name.

"What is it Derek?" She yells out.

"Are we still going out for pizza or what?"

"Oh, right. Pizza. Sure, let's go."

He stood up. "Let's go."

She shouldn't like how Derek held her hand while they walked, but she finds it comforting.

She should hate how Derek gets possessive of her when she talks to other guys, but instead she finds it sweet.

She should really dislike Derek kissing her cheek before they went to each other's room, but she just doesn't.

She should really feel terrified that they were going against what their parents want, but she just finds it thrilling.

There were a lot of things Casey should do, but just because it's right, doesn't make it so.

Derek stared at Casey as he ate his pizza. He couldn't figure out what she could possibly be thinking about. Really, who has an epiphany eating bacon and burger pizza?

"What are you thinking about?" He asks her.

"The wrong thing." She said, thinking Derek wouldn't understand.

"Ahh. Like us." He says.

She smiles at him and he smirks at her. "I told you doing breaking rules is fun.

She smirks. For once, Casey agreed with him.
