"Where's Inuyasha?" Kagome shrieked. She ran up to Miroku and Sango. The way they stared at her… "Where did he go?" Kagome looked into their faces and saw… no… it couldn't be… Inuyasha is… gone?

"How long has he been gone?" Kagome yelled. She tried to be calm, but her face showed how apprehensive she really was.

"Inuyasha… left as soon as you jumped down the Bone Eaters well." Miroku told her. Oh no!!! Darn that Inuyasha! He's run off with Kikyou!!!

Sango reached out and hugged Kagome, but Kagome tore away and ran back towards the well. Miroku quickly caught up to her and grabbed her shirt collar, tugging her back.

"Look, we're going to go on a hunt for Inuyasha. He's alone, so he should be hiding in the trees somewhere. He'll probably be somewhere near. He doesn't like to stray too far from the well…" Miroku turned around and gazed into the woods. Kagome could've easily slipped away and jumped down the well, but she thought she knew what was coming.

"Why don't you come with us to look for him? I think he'll be happy to see you. You're the reason he ran off."

"Wait a second… did you say he's alone?!" Kagome whispered.

"Naraku killed Kikyou shortly after you left." Sango sighed gravely.

It didn't take them too long to find Inuyasha. Like Miroku had predicted, he was drowsing in a tree near the well. When the three approached, he woke with a start and stared at Kagome.

"You," he said. Inuyasha jumped down and stared at her.

"You came back?" He took a step towards Kagome. "Why did you run off like that?"

"After I saw you with Kikyou… I don't know… I was just…." Kagome looked away, and a tear trickled down her cheek. Miroku and Sango started stepping backwards, unsure. Once they were out of earshot, Inuyasha blew up.

"YOU KNOW HOW KIKYOU AND I ARE CONNECTED!!! HOW CAN YOU JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT?!?! IF YOU HAD GONE FOREVER I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD ANY CHANCE AT ALL TO FIND THE SHIKON NO TAMA!!! DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!!"

"…Inuyasha…. You're a monster!" Kagome whispered. She turned and ran back to the Bone Eaters well and dived in.

When Kagome got inside of her house, her mother was there, waiting for her.

"Oh Kagome-chan! You poor thing! Inuyasha troubles? I told you not to go back to him! Why do you not listen to your mother?" The woman looked pitifully into Kagome's eyes, holding her chin up to her face. Souta came in, but quickly left when she saw the tears on Kagome's cheeks.

There was a knock on the door, and Inuyasha stepped inside. "Um, Kagome? Can I talk to you? Please? I'm sorry…"

ok it was my first so it might be pretty bad, but please r&r and tell me what u want me to put in the next chapter. ill try to put everyone's suggestion to effect, because i dont really know myself what's going to happen. but i have an idea. but then the story would be too short so r&r please!!!
