Christmas Cheer

Cristina wasn't a Christmas person. SHe wasn't even a winter person. She hated snow. It wasn't pretty or magical. It was cold and wet. The only good thing that could be said about it was that it caused a lot of wrecks.

With wrecks came cool surgeries.

Cristina glowered at the cheerfulness of Meredith's house. Their tree was so...sparkly. Their Christmas cheer was sickening, and Cristina wished they would leave her out of it.

But no.

Meredith had to drag her to her house with the promise of eggnog and spiced rum. And then there were the gingerbread cookies.

Meredith and Derek had gone outside to build a snowman and Izzie had been persuaded to join. Then, when George noticed he was being left alone with Cristina, he went outside to help.

That was fine with Cristina. She stayed inside and picked all the gumdrops off of Izzie's gingerbread house and then ate the chimney.

"Cristina!" Meredith was laughing when she entered the house. "Come look at our snow people."

Cristina protested profusely, but Izzie joined in on the dragging and she relented. Cristina stood on the porch without a jacket and looked at the two snowpeople.

Derek was standing with his and Meredith's snowman and George with his and Izzie's.

Cristina looked at Derek. "Your snowman looks like it has kyphosis." She looked over at George. "And you're a pervert. You didn't have to make your snow woman anatomically correct."

She went back into the house to get her jacket, while George sputtered about Izzie being the one to give the snow woman breasts and Derek tried to straighten his snowman's back.

Burke's silent treatment was better than hanging out with the jolliest people around.
