AN: Just something that kinda came to me.

Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars or Rise Against

A hero of war, is that what they see? Just medals and scars, so damn proud of me…

Leia sat staring out the window, not used to inaction, to peace. Unconsciously she rubbed at the blaster wound on her shoulder.

"Don't do that," Han said, coming to sit beside her, pulling her into his lap.

"I can't help it. I don't even think about it," she replied, leaning back against him.

"Well try to think about not doing it," he said, holding her close and watching the stars.

They had been hidden away in Leia's quarters on Home One for a few days now, trying to heal from the battle on Endor, and from the shock they had received while there.

Leia had been rather depressed since then but he had been trying to get her to open up, to let go of that for just a moment. He usually succeeded at night.

Now though, with all the inaction, they had time to think about all they had lost during the long war, and though they were viewed as heroes they didn't feel like such.

"Wars do not make one great."

Luke continued to ponder Yoda's words, thinking of how they were being considered great, being considered heroes.

"But we're not heroes," Luke sais to no one. "We just did what we had to do to achieve freedom."

The reports of the Rogue Squadron's antics were astounding. They were getting in to quite a bit of trouble, more than usual, though Rieekan wasn't surprised.

Wes Janson wasn't allowed to fly unless it was an emergency and most of the rest of the squadron was under similar punishment.

But the big news on Home One was Han and Leia, whom no one but Luke and Chewbacca, who had been worried about them and taken them food, had seen. If you listened to the Rogue's rumors they hardly got out of bed, thought Rieekan doubted it was true.

Leia was probably in pretty bad of shape with all the time to think about everything, and Han was probably just trying to keep her from spacing herself.

He shook his head, he would have to visit the two.

Han sighed. He hadn't really been trying to keep Leia from spacing herself as Rieekan had said but he had been trying to keep her sane.

Leia came up behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Ready for bed, nerfherder?" she asked in a seductive whisper.

"Trying to make the Rogue's rumors true?" he asked her.

"Maybe…why don't you come and find out," she said, slipping towards their bedroom.

"Oh, I'm coming," he said, grabbing her in a passionate kiss.
