Amy smiled softly and closed the e-mail. In a few days, she would be back in Raccoon City. The place she was born and raised. Not only that, but she was going to be reunited with her best friends, Nicole and Jake. And to make things even better, they were getting married. Ever since the first day of kindergarten, it was always Amy, Nicole and Jake. From innocent child's play to their teenage years when they formed "The Triangle" all the way to graduation. Never once did they argue or annoy one another. Amy was accepted to a college somewhere in Montana while Nicole and Jake stayed in Raccoon, eventually hooking up and now getting married.
For all I know, I may even be dragged back to Raccoon for good!
She had been thinking lately that maybe that would be a good idea. In about 5 months, she will be done with college and could get a job with Umbrella. They pay well and they have the best benefits, or so she heard.
Amy stood and walked to the window in the corner of her lonely dorm room. Looking down into the yard, she felt a sudden rush of happiness and grabbed her suitcase. She couldn't wait any longer. She would pack tonight and head out bright and early to get there early enough to surprise Nicole and Jake. Amy was ready for a trip to Raccoon City, the city of walking dead…
