The world will now turn to darkness my love, and Despair will cover her broken souls with a heavy blanket of blackness, as nothing else will hold them but her. The times to come are very dark my dearest friend, and I hope above all else, you remembered to bring your candle and matches. *sandman/Harry Potter cross over. NO IDEA where this is going.*****

Statement of usual events:
The Witness's Statement is given on free will and of uninfluenced by any means besides free will.
The Setting: A muggle truck stop diner in the middle of nowhere. A few tired truckers sit at the counter, talking softly or drinking their coffee while staring blankly at the hanging television as news reports talk of storms and harsh weather conditions. Two separate group of bikers sit across the restaurant from each other. It's not because of animosity, it's because that is where they chose to sit. It was raining.. A harsh type of rain fell. Its the kind that that strikes from the side so you can't find protection in your travels.
Time: Late. The type of late where the weak minded and early risers have far since hit the dream realm but there he was, sitting hunched over at the counter looking disinterested at the eggs before him, black hair falling around his face, blocking his expression of personal dilemmas and boredom. Then there was me.
See I'm a squib, so I saw what happened when no one else did. Everything I say now is true. I was sitting in a booth hidden by a half wall when it happened.
Suspect one (1): They say his name is Severus Snape. 27 years old and not much to say about anything, but hell will he fight like a rabid pitbull if provoked. Skinny crack head type, always wears black. They all quickly learned to leave him alone. The staff learned much quicker, that he would ask if he needed anything.
The Event: He sitting there, glancing up at the screen every now and then when the door bell rang. An aristocrat style man walks in. Blond, Long blond hair that was tied tightly back and he wore look that could kill. I think his name is Lucius Malfoy...
Suspect two(2): Lucius Malfoy.
POV of Severus Snape:
Severus was picking at his scrambled eggs when the door bell chimed and the familiar clicking of a staff sounded a clear path that approached his back. He readied his form as the man swept into the chair next to him and ordered eggs and bacon with a side of toast and a cup of black coffee that Severus knew the man would not consume. It was for show, something he would pick at but in the end, his lifestyle would think the food disgraced just by the looks of the plate it arrived on.
"So..." The man hissed, sitting forward and allowing a curtain of blond hair to fall, creating a barrier from the rest of the world.
Severus's hand slipped into his pocket and he pulled out a small parcel and placing it on the counter and sliding it over to Lucius who quickly took it and stashed it away.
"Good job. I'll give you your reward later.."
"Of course."
"I'll be back in an hour."
'Of course."
"Don't leave."
"Of course."
Lucius rose from the chair and looked around before throwing money and the Daily Profit on the counter and sweeping outside, leaving the man to down the coffee and take over the abandoned plate.
Severus gave a sigh and looked up at the Television as it spoke of continued rain and massive storms before looking down at the paper. His attention was instantly grabbed by the mug shot of Sirius Black. The man had been in jail for the 'murder' of Lily and James and had since the arrival of Harry Potter, had his sentence increased to two years after the boy left Hogwarts.
A dark grin crossed his face as he filled his fork, consuming more than usual in his lightened emotions.
Tick..
.Tick...
...Tick...
...Tick...
... .Tick...
The deafening ticking of the wall clock drilled into his mind as the energy changed and the ticks became slower and the room became heavier. He looked up from the plate and his breath caught in his chest as he watched the staff near frozen in active positions. A chaos rose his pulse as the noise of continued clatter and speech ran loudly in background at normal speed against the ever continuing slowing clock. After a moment, nothing moved and the air stood still as the last tick echoed in the frozen space.
'Ding. Ding.'
The bell chimed normal speed behind him as a harsh chill hit his back, bringing him to grunt and hunch his shoulders while tilting his head upwards protecting his neck and showing strain.
Normal foot pace padded abnormally loud as it approached behind him. This was a force that he could not fight, he knew this painful truth. So instead he would wait until he had too; and what he had to do was run.
The flash of black came into his peripherals, as the robe clad creature sat in the chair Lucius had once sat in.
His blinked his eyes downward and held his attention on his plate as he dragged a piece of egg around in circles with his fork.
"Hello." He choked out after a never ending moment of silence.
Nothing was said, and Severus glanced up as the creatures body shifted. It was wearing a black-hole imitating, shamanistic/monk robe imprinted with black sigils and designs that moved like smoke or clouds. A black and purple rope was tied loosely around the waist amd a baggie of unknown continents hung from the belt along with a silver Aunk and a silver Helm of awe sigil. The hood was tipped, and coming from a deep within, came exposed the beak of a hippogriff skull, its bleached bone colored with designs that traced the exposed face while rope and beaded feathers hung from the space between the beak and the skull.
His breath came more forced as the air became more dense and weighed heavy down upon him. The hand came from the pocket and landed soundlessly on the counter, fingers holding down a brown envelope. He noticed the hands were young and female, hyena style tattoos and bands covered the skin with intricate designs meant for power and strength. People like this had many tricks for many things and they could rarely be trusted about anything unless the had use for you. The sliding of the envelope sounded alone in the silence, and the fingers lifted and pulled away allowing him to take it for himself.
At the breaking of the seal, the figure was out of the seat.
As he pulled the note from the pocket, the room activity caught up.
And as the words exposed to the world, Severus Snape heard a dinging come from the closing door behind him.
"you promised me, underneath the canopy of swaying willow trees and summer stars, that if I could prove my claim, you would come and find me."
His brow furrowed as his heart skipped in his chest.
"Little Sister." He whispered her nickname, as the words shifted and changed on the parchment in front of him.
"Don't let him know."
A heavy hand landed on his shoulder which shock and lack of announcement made him flinch as the room suddenly came alive around him forcing a slight overwhelming take over. He crumpled the paper and slid it into his pocket as the distracted Malfoy slipped into the chair next to him.
And that's all I remember, Officer... After that, Malfoy gave a paper bag to Snape, who stumbled for words before quickly getting up and leaving. Malfoy stayed for a moment longer, watching suspiciously before getting up and leaving as well.
Yha.. Thats all I know. ... Am I free to go?
Fingers covered with a black leather glove, crumpled the paper and quickly threw into the roaring blue fire in the fireplace. Two men. One dressed in nothing but shadow black, with eyes of solid onyx and shoulder length hair. The other dressed a dark green silk button shirt, undone three quarters of the way down and tucked loosely into his black business style, straight-legged trousers. Both men took sips from crystal glasses which they held with blood stained hands and souls. They stood in silence, their eye's watching the statement burn to dust.
What do you think? Do you like the idea?! let me know!
