The Shadow of Virgaz

(This story takes place after the events of Call of Pripyat.)After the Strelok's return to the Zone,odd groups of Stalkers start to appear in the irradiated lands.Along with Major Degtyarev,and a well known veteran Merc,he attempts to find them,and find out why are they there.However,after some twists and turns,the plot wheel starts changing it's course.

This is the first fanfiction I've ever written on this site.I hope you enjoy it,pacani.

-It was a cold night,on the 8th of October,2012.Somewhere in the East Outskirts of the Exclusion Zone,a group of Loners was sitting next to a campfire.

"So,what's the safest area we could enter in the Dark Valley?"

"As I said already,it's the Farm in the south part of the Valley."

"Yes,well,you said there are some friendly Stalkers who could help us in finding the files there,but can we really trust you?I mean,you didn't even introduce yourself when you told us about being the best guide of the Zone.We deserve to know your name,at least."

"I'm a guide,and I can help you reach the place you want to go to.That is all you need to know.You can always go back to Kiev,if you don't want to continue."

"I get it,I'll keep my mouth shut."

"Ey,boys,let's get some sleep.You are going to need it for tommorow."

The group of Loners laid out by the old house they were next to,and started sleeping.The guide,who was sleeping near the front of the house,got up and went through the door.A Loner,who still wasn't sleeping,tried to call him quietly.

"Hey man.Dude!"

The guide turned around.

"What?"

"Where are you going?"

"I need to take a piss."

"In the house?"

"Have you heard of a toilet before?"

"Yes,but why not do it outs-"

"Listen,I just need to piss,that's it.Go back to sleep,you pussy."

The Loner turned around and quickly started snoring.After an hour or so,the guide got back,but not alone.Some men in grey hoodies followed him.The guide pointed at the sleeping Loners.The men started to approach the Loners,and pulled their knives out.They started slitting their necks,one by one,mercilessly.Silence.After 4 minutes,the men started talking to the guide.

"Is the deal still the same?"

"Yes."

"Good."

They started searching the bodies and their backpacks,finding some supplies.

"They have some nice stuff.Alright,here is your pay,bratan."

"Alright."

The guide went away from the place,walking towards the woods.

This is the end of the first chapter.It was kind of short,but I want you,the readers,to tell me what do you think about it.
