I'm not even a Terry fan but this idea just came to me as I was looking at pics of Tony and Kerry and I couldn't get over the chemistry they have in just pictures, so I decided to do a one-shot on how it would've gone down if they had a relationship in real life that was ending because of her marriage to Nnamdi. Again, I don't really believe in Terry, this is just fiction. So, enjoy!
Chapter 1: Is This Really the End?
"Wait!" he whisper-yells at her as she high-tails it down the hallway of the studio. She doesn't turn back, needing to get away from him.
"Ker, wait!" He says a little louder as he finally catches up to her, grabbing her arm.
She finally flips around to face him and says hastily, "We can't do this here, Tony."
"We need to talk about this, though," he says and after a few seconds of contemplation she nods and he leads her into her nearby empty office and locks the door.
He paces around the room as her eyes flicker upsettingly between him and the ground. He looks up at her. "How could you do this?" He asks softly, feeling like his heart was being ripped out of his chest.
"That's not fair. You know why," she replies, feeling guilty for putting him in this situation, but they both knew that the state they were in was irrational.
He nods, knowing he had no right to ask her that with the situation they had been in since they started the filming of Scandal. As soon as he laid his eyes on her during their first chemistry read, he knew that his life would never be the same. He had seen almost all of her movies and already thought that she was beyond beautiful, but once he saw her in person, she captured his heart. They had hit it off immediately as soon as they met. He was enchanted by her physical beauty but especially by her beautiful personality, and he soon found that he couldn't get her out of his mind. Their steamy sex scenes on Scandal had only served to increase his attraction to her and when she started to reciprocate her feelings, it didn't take long before their romantic relationship expanded beyond the TV screen. The first time they had slept together, they had both felt immense guilt, him especially since he had been married for over twenty years to a great wife, but no matter how hard they tried, they just couldn't stay away from each other. He knew that it was crazy for him to feel like he was in love with someone he only knew for barely a year, but he knew deep down that it wasn't just an infatuation. But as much as it brought him joy to just be with Kerry like this, he knew that every time they met up for their romantic rendezvous that it hurt her and their relationship more and more. He found it so ironic that they were essentially in the same situation as their characters on the show, but that likely attributed to their great performance every week. "I know, it's just…I didn't expect to find out by you telling everyone during the table read. I thought you would tell me before. I thought you would at least want to discuss it with me first."
"I already delayed him from asking me before, but this time I couldn't. We were on a date and there was no way out," she explains. She stares into his eyes and says earnestly, "I love you, Tony, but where are we really going with this? We've been doing this for a year now but I don't see any future for us. You can't just let go of twenty years with your wife and daughters…I'm not getting any younger and I want to move on with my life with a husband and kids. I can't do this anymore."
"I could leave her…" Fitz mumbles, but Olivia shakes her head, slowly making her way over to him and takes his hands in hers. "No, you can't. It would ruin both of us," she tells him and lets out a humorless chuckle. "I'm surprised that we haven't been caught by the tabloids yet. They would surely have a great story to run with—the fictional affair that came true."
He nods and smiles lightly back at her. "Although we've had a few scares with all those extreme Olitz fans' theories…what do they call us again?"
"Terry," she answers as a smile creeps to her face.
"That's right. Terry," he says, shaking his head. "If only they knew."
"Is this really the end?" He asks her with the saddest look in his eyes.
She nods reluctantly. "It has to be. We can only carry this on for so long before we get caught. Like I said, we've been lucky so far."
He guides them to a nearby desk and sits down, taking her between his legs and resting his head on her upper belly. "Why can't two people who are in love just be together? Why must it be so complicated? Why must life be so complicated? It really puts the situation of Olivia and Fitz into perspective," he mutters as she combs her fingers through his hair.
"If only Shonda knew what she's created," she whispers into his hair.
"The perfect romantic tragedy. But I wouldn't take anything that's happened in this past year back for anything in the world," he says, looking back up at her.
She smiles heartily at him and agrees. "Neither would I. One minute?" She asks.
He smiles at her and nods. "One minute." He pulls her down onto his lap and puts his arms around her, holding her tightly, like it's the last time, even though it probably wouldn't be because they would likely have many more love scenes on the show, but this would be the last time he got to hold her as them being their real selves—as just Kerry and Tony.
Once the minute is over they stare lovingly and longingly into each other's eyes as she holds the back of his neck and he rests his hand on her thigh and they together make the decision to make the best of their last true romantic moment together.
He peels off her shirt and she helps him unclips her bra. He sweeps everything off the desk and lays her down and then takes off his shirt. He brings his lips down on hers and they tenderly kiss each other. He sucks on her bottom lip as his hands furiously search her body. He begins to leave a long trail of wet kisses down her skin to her breasts, making her arch her back and moan out. He grabs both her thighs and pulls her jeans off of her smooth, mocha legs, quickly slipping her panties off. She unzips and then pushes his pants down, wanting and needing him in this moment like she needed air.
He pulls back, still hovering above her and stares into her eyes, thinking of everything that could've been and now would never be. A tear runs down her face onto her lip but he catches it swiftly and continues to pepper her face with more kisses. She pulls him closer to her as he opens her up and plunges into her and she wraps her legs around his lower back. As he begins to move against her, he drags his tongue across her breasts, sucking at the skin and trailing his way up to her shoulder where he bites down, determined to leave his mark, fiancé be damned. This woman had been his for a year and she still would be his long afterward. She moans out his name as he moves deeper and faster inside of her and says to her between his labored breathes, "You are mine, Ker, mine. And no other man is ever going to change that. Say it!"
"I'm yours," she whispers.
"Say it louder," he grunts, thrusting her speedily and powerfully now as his eyes tear up.
"I'm yours, Tony…" she moans.
"Again, I need to hear it," he cries out through his tears.
"I'm all yours. I'm always going to be yours!" She screams then says into his ear, "I love you so much. Don't you ever forget that." She tells him as she starts to match his thrusts.
"And I love you, sweet baby," he whispers to her, wanting to hold on longer but is unable to as he finally releases and she follows suit. But they continue, both of them determined not to stop until they can no longer move. "And I'm going to always be yours!"
After laying together for an hour on the floor in complete silence, holding onto each other tight, they decide it's dreadfully time to part ways. He helps her slip her clothes back on, not really needing to but both of them know that she wants to feel his touch and vice versa. He caresses every part of her skin until she's fully clothed and she does the same as he slides his shirt back on.
She puts her arms around his waist, resting her face against his chest but he can hear sniffling and feel the wetness of her tears seeping into his shirt.
He lifts up her face by her chin and smiles lightly at her which she returns with a sad smile of her own. "Don't cry, baby, I don't want to remember this moment with you looking so sad. I love you and that's all that matters," he says, putting his forehead against hers and kissing a tear that trickled down her nose.
She nods and grips the back of his neck, bringing his lips to hers for one final passionate kiss, letting their tongues dance fervently together before she pulls back. "I love you and that's all that matters," she says back to him.
He deposits one more kiss on her forehead and then takes his hand in hers as they head toward the door together. They look down the hall and fortunately see no one, but they can't guarantee that everyone is gone, especially since a few people had tried to come in the office they had been in. They stare down the opposite ways of the hall and accept that the time to part ways has finally come.
"I know we're deciding to end this, but if you ever need anything or if you ever feel like you're trapped with him, just remember you're not. Because I would risk it all for you in a heartbeat if you said so," he tells her intently.
She bites her lip, willing herself to keep the last of her tears inside, wanting to make this moment between them a good one. She nods and smiles, wondering why she couldn't have met this amazing man sooner. "Okay. And the same goes for you. I'll always be there for you, you just have to say the word. Take care, Tony."
He smiles softly at her, squeezing her hand. "You, too, Ker. Goodbye."
"Goodbye," she whispers to him as someone enters the hall and they both turn around and slowly go their separate ways.
So, what did you think? I'm wondering if I should just leave it here or make it a collection of one shots over different events that have happened, like award shows, filming, etc. But leave me your thoughts please! Thanks for reading!
