A/N: Alright. This was from 2012, and I literally have had it sitting on Chris' Joker FB and my computer for the longest time. And after recent events, I hesitated in whether I should post it or not. But I love posting stuff and adding things, so I figured I could blow the dust off this one. Plus, let's admit it. Hardcore fans can't deny that Joker is a perfect Jareth role, especially here in this specific song. So yeah. Fresh from two years ago!

The prison was silent, except for a small voice.
That of the warden as he stood on the highest beam in the prison, obviously in a rotten mood by the scowl on his face. "How you've turned my world, you precious thing..." he sighed, walking across the bar with ease.
"You starve and near exhaust me" he clenched his teeth, grabbing his crop from his belt. "Everything that I have done for you!" he slashed to the wall, a crack echoing out as he spoke once more. "I move the stars for no one" hopping from one beam to another, it almost looked as if he were floating; However, it looked much simpler then it truly was, for he barely made it across without falling.
"You've run so long, you've run so far..." nearly slipping, he regained his balance again, gripping his crop in hand.
"Your eyes can be so cruel..." he growled.
"Just as I can be so cruel..." the warden walked across the beam, as he eyed the next beam he would jump to, this one just a tad farther then the one before. "Though I do believe in you" he inhaled a big breath before running down the beam and jumping across, only falling a few inches short. He shot his hand up and caught one of the ropes which hung from the beams, stopping himself from falling.
"Yes I do" he pulled himself up to the beam, once again standing as he made his way to the highest level of the beam he could
"Live without the sunlight. Laugh without your heart beat..." he then slid down so he was sitting, his legs dangling from the beam, as he stared at the floor below.
"I can't live within you..."
He then proceeded to allow himself to fall, enjoying the brief adrenaline of his body, free falling through the air as if it were a feather, before colliding with the pavement of the prison floor below.
The crunching sound of bone hitting concrete echoed through the prison as the warden turned into a bloody broken heap on the ground. He knew soon he would be back, forced to run the prisons once more, but he didn't care.
He would do anything, anything to be able to feel something. Anything that wasn't the ever so familiar cold numbness that he had been feeling for so long

I know it's short. I'll be updating the final chapter of Alice's Black Butler as soon as the production at school is done, and I'll do a lot more this summer before college! Thank you for reading, and thank you for supporting me!
