Crest's Reflections

A/N: hello there people ^^ I sort of suck at poems, so it may not be very good. It doesn't rhyme either, so I guess it's more of a free verse poem. It was actually for an English assignment, but I got an A on it, so maybe it's some good after all ^^ please R&R!
Courage?
It's impossible to be brave all the time
No one can always stand up time and time again
Against the forces that threaten them
Self-doubt tears away confidence
Until the burden of being courageous becomes too much
Courage becomes Cowardice
Friendship?
No friendship will ever be perfect
Conflicting views and the need to
Prove yourself just as good
Will eventually arise
Envy can go too far until it warps
Into Jealously
Friendship leads to Rivalry
Love?
How can you love everyone
And everything all the time?
There will always be something you resent
Whether it's yourself
Or a friend's annoying habit
Love subtly becomes Hate
Knowledge?
Geniuses tend to think they know everything
Or that because they know more
Than the average person
Nothing is worth explaining to those
'Less fortunate' than them
Those who think this way and
Possess too much Knowledge
Soon find themselves drowning
In their own Stupidity
Light?
The purest of the pure
Creates shadows
Dark reflections of their
Bright counterparts
As the light recedes
The shadows creep up
And gain power
Light gives birth to Darkness
Hope?
Too much optimism can be harmful
Things don't always turn out as expected
Looking on the bright side becomes useless
In situations where there is no bright side
Uncertainty
And cruel reality
Can break the overly optimistic
Hope begins fading to Despair
Sincerity?
It's hard to be completely honest all the time
The pressure of telling the truth can become
Too much
Do you tell the truth and hurt people's feelings?
Or do you lie and save a possible friendship?
The truth hurts
And sometimes you'd rather avoid it
Little white lies begin building
Sincerity bleeds into Dishonesty
Reliability?
People take advantage
Of the over trustworthy
The strain of being counted on
And always looking out for others
Can cause paranoia
Self-doubt builds as
Self-confidence dissolves
They began betraying themselves
And betraying others
At another's convenience
Reliability unintentionally leads to Treachery
Miracles?
Too much luck isn't always
A good thing
Seemingly impossible achievements
Are blamed on luck
And praise is over looked
Others began doubting your ability
To do what needs to be done
How can someone be such a jerk
And still accomplish a mission?
Forces are attracted to this incredible ability
As eager to put it to the test
As they are to show what they can do
Those who are fortunate
Are often so at another's expense
Miracles eventually attract Tragedies
Kindness?
No one can be compassionate all the time
It's hard to be kind to someone who's caused
You great suffering
Compassion is seen as a weakness
Sometimes
The urge to see how it feels
To have power over those weaker
Than them arises
Kindness warps into Cruelty
