I'm on a sasusaku craze today, so I ended up writing this on a whim.

Dear Sakura,
I write this to you before I leave Konoha for good, as I'm not sure if I'll be the same after tonight.
Sakura, I have never appreciated you as much as I would have liked to. I've always made you feel like a hindrance, but in all reality, it was you that helped push me forward. When you smiled and laughed… When you'd tell me to keep going… I couldn't have done it without you there.
Our times together were some of the best of my life… But, I still have the obligation to avenge my clan.
As much as I hope against it, this will probably make me a traitor in your eyes.
And so, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry for letting you down, I'm sorry for not protecting you like I should have.
I'm sorry for not telling you how much I really did care about you.
