This is a condensation of "Pawn Of Prophecy". It is meant to be read after reading the real book. It is not meant to be read as a substitution. These are not Cliff Notes, as much as I know you wish they were.

PROLOGUE

Cherek and his sons go to Mallorea. Belgarath goes with them in the form of a wolf. Riva steals the Orb from Torak. Belgarath goes home to find that he has offspring and Poledra is dead. David Eddings learns that he has an obsession with Elizabethan English.
