Welcome Home
The sound of a door lock being opened, ticked through the quiet halls of the Uchiha estate. It was an ungodly hour to be awake. However, Sasuke was an ungodly man who wanted to be in the warm embrace of the home he's created along side his wife.
Gently opening the door, he stepped inside taking in the sight of his furnished living room. It definitely looked like someone resided in it. Toys were scattered about along with medical books. Sasuke snorted. Leave it to Sakura to be the most messiest person.
Sasuke closed the door and walked down the living room into a dark hallway that would eventually lead to his daughter's room. He poked his head into Sarada's quarters. Pastel green walls met his sight adorned with picture frames of cartoon characters. His gaze wandered to the small bed against the wall. It was empty.
A small grunt escaped his lips. He closed his eyes, fatigue obvious in his almost relaxed stance. Sasuke turned and continued his journey down the hall. He made his way into the master bedroom he shared with his wife.
As he entered, his breath hitched. The most beautiful sight met his eyes. There in his bed lay his wife and his daughter. Sakura was laying on her right side with her arms around a sleeping Sadara. The moonlight flowing in from the window adorned the features of his two loves.
A faint smile rose on his lips. He was damn lucky.
Sasuke made his way to the bed making sure he was as quiet as possible. Sitting on the bed, he slowly took of his sandals. He turned to look at Sakura. She had a light smile on her face.
He stayed looking at the beautiful scene before him making sure he would stay with this sight forever. Sighing, he wrapped his arms around a slumbering Sakura.
Sasuke closed his eyes taking in the sweet scent of Sakura's hair.
It felt good to be home.
