So I'm uploading this here because I'm trying to get through this fucking fic for NaNoWriMo. Hopefully uploading it will motivate me to, like, upload a chapter every day or something. (Ha)
Also, if you're interested, I have a tumblr!
PROLOGUE
Legend has it that it was written by the Dark Ones. Necronomicon ex Mortis, roughly translated, "Book of the Dead." The book served as a passageway to the evil worlds beyond. It was written long ago, when the seas ran red with blood. It was this blood that was used to ink the book. In the year thirteen hundred A.D, the book disappeared.
Hello,
I would like to thank you for auditioning for Trost Players' Evil Dead: The Musical! So many talented people came out, and I would be lying if I said we had an easy time whittling the callback list down to a more manageable number.
If your name is not on the following list, know that we are incredibly thankful that you came out and shared your talent with us, and we want to encourage you to audition for our second show of the season, Next to Normal. We honestly wish we could offer everyone a callback, but unfortunately the Rose Building fire code doesn't allow for that.
The names listed below are called on September 7th, in Rose Hall (room 302), from 10am to 4pm. Another email will be sent out to those called back with some scenes and sheet music attached to it. We ask that you look over the scenes, and try to learn the music as best you can, as you will be asked to sing it for our musical director.

Hello,
If you're reading this, congratulations! You received a callback for Trost Players' Evil Dead: The Musical.
As I said in the previous email, callback's will be held on September 7th, in Rose Hall (room 302), from 10am to 4pm. We realize that this is quite a long time, so we advise you to bring a bottle of water and snacks! There will be an hour long lunch break at around 1pm, and you will not be used 100% of the time, so feel free to bring any school work you may need to finish.
Attached are a couple of scenes from the musical and three songs. We ask that you print out the scenes and sheet music yourself, and have it on hand at the callback. The scenes do not need to be memorized, but we advise you familiarize yourself with them to make the process as easy as possible. As for the songs, you all need to have a copy of Housewares Employee with you. Girls need to have Look Who's Evil Now at the ready, and boys, you need I'm Not A Killer. We will provide you with a vocal and physical warm up.
If you have any questions about the sheet music, feel free to email the music director at . We understand that not all of you may read sheet music, so we also highly recommend looking up the songs on YouTube.
Any conflicts or questions about the callback time/location, email me and I'll do my best to help you out.
Thank you so much, and we look forward to seeing you perform your hearts out!
Stage Manager,
Armin Arlert
