A Pokemon Breeder's Log – Kanto

If you want to get the story straight, I, a Pokemon Breeder called Fiori, am... is? I'm not sure.. .Any ways, I am starting a log of my breeding successes and failiures.

But first, a bit about me. I am a sixteen year old female, who enjoys the company of Pokemon. I have a small farm, and people may start to pay me to breed Pokemon with specific conditions on them, like a female Marowak with the ability Lightningrod and the moves Skullbash, and Detect. This may take me some time, so they pay me more for their services.

You get it, right?

So, I guess this is it. I am starting my journey.

Let's go!

...

...

There's... just... one problem...

I...don't have a Breeder's License...

A/N: I am putting Explorers of Sound on hiatus so I can work on this, so it won't be coming for a while.. Chapter 1 follows below.

Chapter 1: Getting the License

I stood outside the door of the lab in Pallet Town, my heart pouding. I was scared, but excited. Getting your first Pokemon was a big thing, and meant a lot. I just couldn't explain it.

I took a deep breath, and walked into the lab, amazed at all the technology. It was amazing. I remembered watching Red battle the Elite 4, and realized how nothing they had there could compare to this. I kept walking forward, in a daze, when I walked into a table, and knocked off the Pokeballs. The three Pokemon there then escaped their confinement.

"Oh, uhm, sorry!" I said, quickly trying to sort things out. I was clumsy like that, and it didn't help that I was quite quiet.

Proffesor Oak looked at me, sighing. "It's OK, you know." He said. I nodded.

"I'm uhm, here to... you know... get my licence." I said to him.

He chuckled a bit. "Of course you are." He said. "You can take one of the three Pokemon. Your choices are," He started, moving to the Pokemon.

"Eevee, the Evolution Pokemon." He said. The Eevee let out a cry of it's name, and I almost squealed like a fangirl. He then moved to the next Pokemon, a Jigglypuff. "This is Jigglypuff, the Balloon Pokemon." He said. The jigglypuff didn't look interested. He then moved to a Meowth. "And this is a Meowth, the Scratch Cat Pokemon." I looked at the Meowth. If I were to choose him, I hoped he wouldn't steal from me.

"Take your pick." Oak said. I nodded, then looked at them again.

"I pick the Eevee!" I said. The Eevee ran to me, and I giggled. Oak nodded.

"Would you like to name her?" He asked.

"Uhm... Eve!" I nodded.

Oak approached his desk, and picked up some stuff. He came back. "I am going to give you a Pokedex, use it to record data on the Pokemon you see, capture and breed. Here is Eve's Pokeball. Don't keep her in it all the time, you need to bond with your Pokemon. If you battle them, make sure to treat their wounds. If you can't treat them, take them to a Pokemon Center. And finally, you have a ticket to go to Snowpoint City in Sinnoh in three days, and your Breeder's Licence. I am also going to give you five more Pokeballs." He said.

I nodded, and smiled. I was finally going on my adventure!
