They used to say how much we looked alike. Before sweet Cissy came, all blue eyed and icy blonde haired. When it was just us, there were never two sisters more fitting of the name Black, they said. But you, it was you that always displayed the stark difference between the two of us, wasn't it? Despite our similarities. There had been an underlying something, a strange fire within the obsidian eyes in your pale face that warred between pure goodness and great evil and it was in every facet of your being, the battle that constantly waged until that fire was put out for good.
But I'll tell you a secret, Bella. That fire burns within me too. Dimmer though. Like an ember. Not the roaring and raging Fiendfyre that consumed your soul. Though a fire, just the same. A fire that was kindled in those moments of unadulterated passion.
Stolen kisses, heated gasps, sweet caresses, and bruising grasps.
You lit something within me then Bellatrix, when we were both too young to give a damn of repurcussions. And perhaps, looking back on it then, it was me who caused your flames to rage out of your own fragile control. The night I left you.
And you've paid me back, for it's you who has now left me.
