A/N: This is a Joey/ Mai songfic, using a Bob Seger song I think fits them (sort of). It's called "You'll Accomp'ny Me".
Joey and Mai hadn't seen each other in months, since the battle city tournament. One day, Joey was sitting on his bed at home, listening to the radio and thinking about Mai, when a song he liked came on. It always made him think of her.

She was so nervous. She hadn't called or anything. Mai knocked on Joey's door, hoping he'd answer. Yugi had given her the address, and she found it easily. His father opened the door, not drunk, for a change.
"Who're you?"
"Name's Mai. Is Joey here?"
"He's in his room. Right back there."

"Mai?" Joey said, surprised.

Mai sat down on his bed beside him, and slipped her arm around him, resting her head on his chest.
