"Edward," I heard from across the hall. It was not a nervous tone, but rather said in a seductive manner. I slid across the wooden hallway floorboards, making my way to the small door at the end of the hallway. I peered into the keyhole to see something I would never forget. Rosalie stood by a bed, only in lingerie and her hair in a ponytail, with Edward sitting on the bed, struggling against his own movements.
"Rosalie," He pleaded, his hands on her waist, "Stop this now."
She smiled a wicked smile that kept me still. "Edward," she said, and he moved his hands lower, "I've waited too long to stop." His eyes were squeezed shut, and his head was turned away slightly, but his actions completely contradicted his attitude. Gently, his hands caressed her hips, moving slowly lower.
"Anything," he beseeched, "I'll do anything."
"Will you now?" She said, possibly contemplating his words, but looking as if to reject the thought. Suddenly Rosalie's stunned face turned to the door I opened.
"You should have considered his offer seriously," I said, "Because now you're not getting a better one." Immediately Edward was by my side, embarrassed, but very grateful, of my presence.
"What do you want." She said curtly as more of a statement than a question.
"The better question would be what is it you have to offer?" I asked with a hidden smile. My wits were about me, and I was happy to have envisioned something like this.
Rosalie, now seeing the obvious fact of my having visions, frowned. "What"
"Nothing," I said, having already heard her question echo in my head for days, "Can ever let you stay in this family. Because of what you were going to do, you would have been the sole cause of breaking the family apart."
Suddenly, I had a vision. A small boy sat in a corner of a dark room. "Erase?" he asked, "With memory of power, too?"
"Erase her power and memory of it, yes." I said, turning to Rosalie, who was bound and gagged with the strongest materials I had ever seen. Her eyes were like that of fire; unpredictable. I had felt no way of her escape, after Carlisle had brought the material from Italy.
The boy picked up his hand, slowly walking over to Rosalie. Flickering light showed his dark, crimson eyes. Rosalie closed her eyes, trying to affect the boy, but Bella beside me had shielded everyone from her hideous powers, which soon would…
"Alice?" asked Edward, his hand on my shoulder. Who was that boy? I never had seen him before, but perhaps someone else had known him. Rosalie, who sat down on the bed, looked at me with malevolence in her eyes.
I gave a subtle sneer and said, "Lucky for you, you actually may have a chance. You can't know, though, until Bella comes home." Just on time, Bella opened the tiny door, having been called. A quizzical look she had on as she noticed Rosalie's attire.
"Bella," I said, bracing myself, "I need you, now." Immediately I felt a small block, almost like a rubber, flexing shield, come about me. I hoped she put it over Edward, too, but as Rosalie rose, Edward began to shuffle. He was halfway to her side when he stopped mid step. Thankfully, Bella shielded him then, too. "Not Rose," I said, "Never shield her, Bella."
"What's going on?" Bella looked to Rosalie, who had a greatly mad look upon her face. Rosalie quickly pulled her clothes on, and briskly pushed past us.
She then turned to face us, and said threateningly, "No one will know."
