I don't own Beyblade or Kai … if I did I'd be filthy rich have a dozen cars and own an island.......

Kai stood in the hospital waiting room outside the delivery ward, he was pacing up and down, phone glued to his ear.
'Yes I know all about that, yes I understand. No do not put me on-' he sighed as the other end put him on hold. Of all the things to happen now.
He looked up as a nurse came through the doors, looked around and went over to someone else. Kai sighed again.
After another hour of watching more nurses go past, what looked like a sister came out and looked at him. 'Mr Hiwatari?' she asked.
'I'll have to call you back later.' he said to his phone, hanging up and nodding at the nurse. 'Are my wife and baby ok?'
'Yes. Would you like to see them?' she asked.
Kai was through the doors like a bullet out of a gun, leaving the sister's mouth gawping at his urgency to see his family.
He looked around the ward, finally finding her room, knocking on it before going in.
'Hey,' he said, looking at her. 'How are you feeling?'
'Like I just delivered a bowling ball.' she sighed. 'We have a son.' she added.
He went over to the little cot and stood over the little bundle.
'Can I pick him up?' he asked nervously. 'He looks so small I don't want to drop him or squeeze him too tight or anything.'
'Pick him up and support his head on your arm.' she laughed, watching him as he did as he was told.
He supported the budle as best as he knew how and walked over to the bed, finally sitting down on the edge so they could both look at the little boy.
'Any ideas for names?' he asked, not taking his eyes off his son.
'Well,' she said quietly. 'I hoped you would have one.'
'Of all the things to not think about.' he laughed, going quiet when his wife hit his arm, warning him not to wake the baby up.
'What about … Gou?' she asked, after a few minutes.
'Gou Hiwatari. I like the sound of that.' he said, looking at her. 'You're right, he feels like a bowling ball.' he said, then ducked as she went to smack him across the head.
'Yeah, I like Gou as a name. It's odd enough to be different but not that odd so he gets his butt kicked.'
They were quiet for a few minutes as Gou moved a bit in his fathers arms.
'You know,' said Kai suddenly, breaking the silence. 'There are now two reasons for me to be careful.' he smiled at her. 'And they're both in this room.'
