It was a beautiful day, sunny day. No cloud in the sky, perfect temperature. Birds were chirping peacefully. One could say it was peaceful. Who would have thought that one this day will change the course of the future.

"Perseus! Zeus wants to talk to you!"

"Coming- and don't call me Perseus!"

"Shit. Shit! SHIT!" Percy cursed

Who would have thought that the perfect day would have turn into a nightmare. Then again Percy never had much luck.

Percy had fled the throne room not thinking, shocked with the news that Zeus had given him- he, Percy Jackson, was the avatar. When Zeus had given him the news the world froze. So naturally Percy's body reacted faster than his mind. And that is why he ended up being caught in the storm.

It seemed that mother nature was tied to Percy's feelings and emotions. The storm seemed to be getting worse and worse with each second and even though Percy is a waterbender (and son of the sea god) he was having a rough time keeping the raft afloat.

It seemed that for once the two brothers worked together to make sure that Percy didn't leave. No one like the sound of the new prophecy and the gods needed Percy- their secret weapon, as soon as they train him in controlling all four elements- to accept his destiny.

Suddenly Percy's traitorous brain active. Wow, Zeus is really trying to kill me. Of course dad and Zeus stopped arguing and are working together to kill me- oops, I mean trap and train me. I really hope they don't send the hunters after me, I don't want Thalia to see me like this. Oh my gods what would they tell Annabeth. What how did we end up dating- I thought she hated me. Brain stop this, this instant, I need to concentrate. When was the last time I ate- I'm hungry. Again, how did Annabeth fall for me? She could do so much better. I understand why I fell for her- who wouldn't. She beautiful in every way possible.

Unfortunately Percy was distracted by thinking of Annabeth he didn't have time to react to the lighting bolt. Zeus finally had hit the target and knocked him out which only activated the avatar state.

Zeus frowned. He knew convincing his brother was going to be hard, especiallysince it is his child they were talking about- he hoped that Poseidon would see that it'sfor the best. A war was coming and they weren't prepared for it- not unless Perseus accepted his destiny. Their fate rest on his shoulders.

"Brother please. Can't you see. It's Perseus, he's the avatar. He's our secret weapon. Of we train him-"

"Enough! Zeus how do you expect me to accept this! He is my son, he is no more of a weapon than Thalia. Would you this to her? Force her to do something she clearly does not. Please brother think about it. When you decided call me. Until then, this is goodbye."

AN: so I'm alive. Like I said in the previous story, I'm rewriting this. A few changes I'll like to mention: 1 Percy doesn't have any siblings in this story- they were a mistake, he shouldn't have any in the first place because how else is he supposes to learn the elements. 2: Sokka and Katara (though Sokka is still a non-bender, for now) are air benders and the waterbenders were the ones that the fire nation destroyed, Toph and Zukko remain the same.
