Stubborn

Naruto brushed the dark marks lining his throat, leading to a tattooed fan at the base of his neck, just where neck met shoulder. Naruto shuddered as his hand brushed against a black bond around his neck 'is this my reward…' he thought in despair as he sunk down on the floor, hugging his knees tightly to himself

I'm owned and I'm branded
I'm marked and I'm caged
I'm kept, I am bottled

Naruto buried his face in his knees as his shoulders started to shake, he could feel tears gathering at the edge of his eyes, those eyes that where normally so bright and cheerful, where now so dulled…seemingly dead as sobs racked Naruto's small frame as he huddled together in the bathroom, away from those red piercing eyes.

But watch as I rage
You think I'll sit quietly?
You think I'll submit?
You think me obedient?
-Not even a bit

Naruto felt something flicker inside of him, something that he thought he forgot in the time he had been here. It was a familiar feeling. One that he always carried around with him, that made him able to do the impossible. It was a small light that grew inside of his chest and it grew until all that was left was a inferno as big as Konoha itself, burning with the glow of a thousand stars he could feel how his chakra started to fight, small objects around the bathroom moved against its surface as more and more chakra started to pump through him.


For my pride, it is stronger
My stubbornness, steal
My anger, a creature
That all heaven can feel

He remembered now…it was his stubbornness he could feel inside of him, the same thing that had sent him out in so much trouble before but also bought so much good with it and even though right now he might be subdued he was starting to fight. He could feel the Kyuubi inside of him starting to fight to, felt as the demon started to feed more chakra into him, to help him burst the bonds that bound him to his prison, his prison made of a dark haired man with a leash. Kyuubi roared as his container fought and the heaven itself shook in fear for his anger.

I breathe and I wait
My mind knows what's true
And with my every breath
Know I defy you.

Naruto panted as he concentrated his chakra around the black bond around his neck, forcing it to try to break the hold it had over him. He gritted his teethes as pain washed over him, trying to stop him from forcing the bond off his neck, he cryed out softy as it bit into his neck but with stubborn eyes he pushed one last bit of the demonic chakra into it. It snapped and fell of, leaving Naruto grinning in triumph. Fast steeps made him stand up quickly as the bathroom door was wrenched open, and he meet blood red eyes dead on "am not your slave"
